chapter 8: the grand ball and meeting mettaton

I walked in hearing undyne and alpyhs laughing "al and undyne  hear?" sans asked
undyne rounded the corner "yo sa- YOU!" undyne stopped in her tracks as a spear appeared in her hand, she charged at me throwing it directly  for my head I dodged it running up stairs as undyne chased me "st-stop!" alpyhs called but undyne didn’t hear her I tripped making undyne trip and her spear went into the tv "oh crap!" undyne howled jumping up alpyhs stared at the TV as it was split I pushed pass undyne who glared at me "um h-here " I said as I place my hands on the screen as the tv began to come to together glowing bright green as it did so "th-there its fixed with no need to buy a another for 700g " I said looking at alpyhs she blushed undyne scowled at the tv then smiled at me before grabbing my shirt "hurt me or my friends ever again ill tear you limbs from your body " undyne hissed "un-undyne st-stop!" alpyhs yelled undyne dropped me and looked at alyphs "b-but she killed me" undyne said

Oh apparently her memory Is back ….

"no bu-buts shes obviously  trying to redeem her self" alpyhs stuck up for me she shook her head "fine but if she hurts anyone it not my fault" undyne said sitting on the couch pouting "now do y-you want so tea?" alpyhs asked I nodded and sans shrugged nodding after we sat at the table alpyhs filled us in on what the frisk  was doing and where she was turns out if we weren't careful we could of ran into her back in the waterfall sans stayed quite "that’s good that we know where she is " I said alpyhs nodded "but I don’t know where my robot is so if he runs into her there's no way of saving him "  I looked at the now frowning dr.alpyhs I patted her back " look well find a way to save frisk" I said she smiled slightly after dinner I helped undyne clean up it was really awkward "hey twerp" I her voice interrupting my thoughts "yes undyne" I asked "how were you able to get out of frisks grip or was it chara I don’t know this whole thing is confusing " undyne said as she placed the dishes in to the dish washer "….honestly, I don’t know, but I think I somehow resetted my body but not her so shes inputting images of me killing the people down here " I said she looked at me as I was looking down I felt her arms hug me "look im sorry for threatening you.. " she said as she left shaking my hair I sighed fixing it walking into the guest room seeing sans asleep on the bed he opened his eyes slightly "hey kid " I smiled walking over to him as he scooted little bit over I laid down next to him his body wrapped around me perfectly I smiled blushing abit as my eyes became droopy and I drifted of to sleep

I woke up seeing sans slipping on his jacket "how can you stay by my side after I hurt you " he growled I blinked the tiredness " I mean look at your back it is all bloody a bruised up!" he screamed my eyes widend "wh-what" I said getting up as he  shoved me into the bathroom "that!" he screamed showing me my back "that-" he cut  me off "nothing?! Are you seriously going to lie to me?!" he yelled as his eye starting going bright blue he turned to leave as before he could I wrapped my arm around his waist "kid let go"I shook my head feeling my eyes well up with tears "please do-don’t go" he growled as he lifted me off of him "don’t come looking for me because im not friends with fiends because kid you were right a bad person is always a bad person in my eyes until you accept  that, don’t expect me to be forgiving anymore " he dropped me on the bed and disappeared
What was going on?
He felt weird
He didn’t feel like sans
I mean..
Who am I kidding he has every right to be angry with me...

I felt my heart tear it self apart again I let out a shaky breathe as I got my bag and placed my flower crown on my head I looked in the mirror the looked down at the floor walking off

"W-wait" alpyhs said I turned backed to her as she handed me a Bento lunch box she made "he-here" alpyhs said smiling I hugged her tightly saying thank you as I waved goodbye to her. I breathed in walking to the elevator building


I arrived on my floor it was really quite when a robot randomly grabbed my hand
"Ahh what the hell who are you?! " I screeched as he covered my mouth "your lullia right? " the robot asked then it clicked it was alpyhs's robot mettaton "I'm mettaton here to be your escort back stage" he bowed as we walked up stairs in the MTT resort to a room labeled backstage he sat me on a chair "what's your favorite color "cyan and black" he wrote that Down on a notepad "OK thank you deary" he said as he dinged a bell as a guy who looked really tired came into the room giving mettaton a box then leaving mettaton got out an hair brush and a couple other hair products and started to do my hair

It must of lasted 20 minutes or so when I let out a depressed sigh,
"Darling is it boy troubles? " mettaton asked me looking at me as  I sighed again "it is!  Who is it" he sat in front of me folding his arms "it's nothing just wish it didn't happen " I looked down .
He brought my chin up "deary,  a beautiful young lady doesn't need to have her heart broken yet when there's so much to learn from the world now smile because frowning and pouting causes wrinkles" he patted my head as he showed me my hair that was braided into a fish tail braid with snow flake hair pins in it "now hurry and go get changed out of your clothes when you come back put on your dress and well do your makeup "he said looking at his watch why does he have a watch?  I don't know but he seems on edge about something I thought walking into the bathroom to change
When I came out there was a dress that had a black. Top that fell into the lightest color of blue It was strapless and the train was  3ft long the heels matched but they were 1inch off of the ground and the train was silk and the front of the skirt was lace I put on the dress and heels as mettaton spun me around "you look amazing darling!! " he squealed I blushed he placed me back in the chair as he did my makeup.

"OK!  Deary head down stairs " he hand me some cards "and I'll explain everything when I come down ok?!  7 minutes till ShowTime" he said as he practically shoved me out of the room

I walked down stairs and over to the food place "hiya" I said the guy there kept quite "hey? " I said again "s-stop I'm n-not allowed to-oo talk to mettaton g-guests I'll get in trouble " he said nervously I shook my head "you can talk to me and I'll just tell mettaton it was my fault ok? "He looked at me with wide eyes "no one has ever done that for m-me" he said I smiled "what's your name? " I asked "uh bu-burgarpants " he smiled lightly  I shook his hand "nice to meet you im lullia" I smiled brightly I hear mettaton coming I got up and waved bye "let's talk again some time bud" I said walking away as he nodded " ok darling we're on in a couple of minutes. Now when you get out there make friends and try to dance with everyone! " mettaton explained as he ran off I looked down at the cards then placed them on the table knowing I can think for myself.

"Hello beauties and gentle-beauties,  it is your tv host mettaton!  And today we have a special guest speaker " he said everyone clapped "now now, let's welcome her! " I walked out on stage as the room fell silent I saw some familiar faces in the back I saw papyrus alpyhs and undyne, 

The room was quite people stared into my soul as others whispered I tapped on the mic a bit "h-hi um" I looked around seeing a hooded figured walk into the room

It was sans  why was he here? 

I heard the piano begin to play I look over seeing bugarpants playing it "I see some familiar faces" I chuckled
"Murder

some monsters shouted I looked down "uh I don't know exactly why I'm here because I abandoned the script but I know that I have a few things to say to you guys" I spoke nervously

"and I gue-guess the first thing I would like to say is im-m sorry I know what I did to you was wrong  and I hurt you... And I-i never really took responsibility for that" I notice the song that was bringing played it brought tears to my eyes that I fought to hold back

"I sup-suppose I have guilt and it has always been there.. But feeling guilty and ashamed of what I've done isn't the same thing as ta-taking responsibility for my actions" I said looking down at my thumbs hoping no one knows that I'm going to cry

"Truth is iv-ive done a lot" I added my voice quivering

"YOU CAN MAKE US FORGIVE YOU, YOU MONSTER! " a monster shouted an uneasy feeling began to fill the air

"the monster that I thought forgave me changed his mind and has deserted me,  but I wouldn't blame him for doing that since I did horrible things especially to him,  but at first I blamed him... Isn't that funny? "  I saw sans slouch in his seat making his hoodie fall further over his face.

"But I was wrong to do that,  it was me not him that I played you all for fools " I said shaking

"YOU KILLED OUR Families
"You hurt our loved ones! "

Angry voices filled the room
"Mettaton asked me tonight to dance and mingle to make friends how can I do that when I can't be forgiven by him knowing that I'll never be forgiven by the one person I wish to be forgiven by?! '

"You TOURCHED OUR STORES "
"SET FIRE TO OUR HOMES! " 
The room still was full of anger and rage towards me..

"Tonight I plan on leaving with a friend and never coming back" I looked up at the spotlight as tears began streaming down my face due to the haunting melody that burger was playing I hated the song for many reasons but I also loved it I breathed in "but if I don't tell him I'm sorry so?  Yeah he won't forgive me but can someone te-tell  him that I love him... And never showed him the right way about it? " my voice began to break as I said the last sentence "I w-wish I had another chance to show him how much I care about him,...I want no I need him to know that I'm going to keep trying  and going on because he has given me hope "

I spoke looking down sighing sadly I saw sans sit straighter pulling his Hood down more as people began to whisper because they had no idea who I was talking about

"and that I can't make up for it...
That I should pay for all the lives I took... And for all the people that just want me dead for hurting them.. " sans started to push his way through the crowd I closed my eyes holding back more tears " this is the worst thing ever!  The Shame the guilt I don't know how anyone could live with this... The worst part is that I don't understand ..AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!" I felt my cheeks flush embarrassed that I'm crying on stage in front of all these people who could not give two shits about me

"I hate myself!,  I hate everything!  Is that it what you want to hear me say?!" I yelled as the room fell silent again "it wasn't chara or frisk calling the shots it was me! "Even though chara cause this caused everything to happened cause me and sans to not be friends

sans was getting closer I didn't want him to I wanted him to stop

I noticed that the room was dead silent not even the piano was playing I wiped my tears smearing my mascara a bit I rose my arms up "IM TAKING RESPONSIBILITY  FOR THE LAST TIME,  MY NAME IS LULLIA FAWN JOHNSON AND I WILL MAKE IT UP TO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU NO MORE Pain SHALL BEFALL ANY One!

I notice that papyrus was crying and a couple other monsters we're too undyne was patting his back consoling him

but undyne glared and alpyhs stood there nonchalant like the rest of the monster they didn't show it but some how I moved them I took the microphone off of  the stand "...if your going to kill me do it... I won't hate you or even be mad but if you don't want accept my apologies then go ahead and kill me... " I said as I dropped the microphone closing my eyes holding my arms out wide waiting for that piercing pain to Pierce my body...

I waited

But nothing happened 

I opened my eyes seeing that the monsters we're kneeling but undyne was the last one to because she was reluctant to it  but when she saw alpyhs kneel she did  to. I felt a body collide  with mine…it  sans…. as he wrapped his arms around me sobbing "ki-kid" he spoke his sobbing getting in the way of his words my tears that I held back for so long came out I sobbed into his shoulder as we both dropped to our knees hugging each other  I repeated sorry over and over as he repeated it's ok into my ear as many times as I said sorry…
