It was morning by the time the city gates came into view. They were still a couple miles off but we should make it before sunset. " we are almost there!" Bella spoke proudly. " Luna what shall we do about our friends when we arrive at the city? Humans have been banned from this land after all." Celestia said suddenly. " sister I have two empty baskets big enough and strong enough for them. We can sneak them in." Luna spoke up. " great idea Luna!" I said with enthusiam( though there is nothing enthusiastic about being put in a basket.)" Luna it won't work. They won't be able to breathe in the baskets." Celestia said. " sister! You have magic! You can cast a spell so they can get in to the city!" Luna said " yes I will! But what spell to use? I know!" Then celestia closed her eyes suddenly a light blue arora surrounded me and Bella. " sorry about this but there is no better way. I am transforming you both into our kind. It i only lasts 5 hours, so by the time we get to an inn at the city you should be able to change back." Celestia said. Soon I felt a weird sensation over coming me. It felt good yet painful. Soon it faded away. Soon I noticed my view level was farther down than before. Celestia and Luna were at eye level now. I looked down where my feet used to be, but all there was were hooves. " wow! Im a pony!" Bella said. I looked at her. She was a purple mare with dark red hair. Luna handed me a mirror. When I saw myself I nearly jumped. I was a tan color with a brown mane. " you do look handsome Robert." Luna said. I smiled. ' Luna has been looking at you in that strange way ever since you first meet her.' " thanks." I really didn't know what to say. ' she's just trying to make you feel comfortable' I thought. " any ways, let us make our way to the gates." Celestia said completely ignoring us.

About an hour later we arrived at the city gates, where two menacing gaurds stood their place. " Halt. No entrance without identification." One of the gaurds said. Luna then pulled out two papers and gave them to the guard. " and them?" He pointed at us. " they..... Have....... no identifacation." Celestia spoke, with shame that she would have lied. " no identifacation?" Bella and I nodded our heads. " are you not from this land?" " no they are not. From the deserts across the world. They are our cousins and we invited them to go with us to the ball." Luna lied. " I really shouldn't, but I will let you in." The guard said before signaling the gate which opened up. We walked in then.

We were at an inn waiting for the hour to go to the ball. " celestia? We still have time before we leave." Luna said. " exactly what do you plan to do sister in this time?" Celestia replied." I wanted to show Robert the city." " if he agrees." " sure, sounds like a great idea!" I replied.

In the next 20 minutes I was with Luna flying over the city( for my form had wings now) and she was showing me the whole city. " my dream was to live in here. It's so beutiful, especialy the nights." Luna said, trying for conversation. " yeah, it's beutiful." I said. I really wasn't lookin at the city, for I just noticed how beutiful Luna was. Her sparkiling navy blue mane, her navy blue fur, and the way she smiled. She was beutiful. She got closer to me in the sky. " Robert, you've never been on a date before have you?" Luna asked. " no not really. Why?"

" oh, nothing. The thought just came to mind."

" if you have any thing you want to say, you can tell me."

Suddenly her face got red quickly and her smile disapeared.

" Robert, I don't know how to say this.... But.........." She was cut off by a loud scream from celestia. " oh no!" Luna said as we dove down.

When we reached the inn a window was smashed, celestia was lying on the floor crying and everything was a mess.

" I couldn't stop them. I just couldn't stop them. I....I am so sorry" celestia said as she lay sobbering. " what happened? Where's Bella?"

" they c-c-came and took her." Celestia said. " how did they know she was human?"

" I don't know."

" they would have taken her to the castle right?"

" yes, t-they would've." Celestia said, still in shock.

" then that's where I'm headed." I said with determination in my voice.

" I'm not letting you go alone." Luna said. " no Luna, it's too dangerous. Stay with your sister."

Luna nodded her head and then turned around to tend to her sister. As I walked out the two sisters were talking. I saw celestia look at me and nod. I nodded back and walked out of the inn.

" celestia, I can not let Robert go alone. He may be in peril." Luna spoke to her sister as Robert left. " you should follow him then." Celestia spoke. " but you sister?" " i will be alright." " then I must leave." " good luck."

Then Luna flew out the door.

I was standing at the front door to the castle. I decided to knock on the door. " yes?" A vocie spoke from above the door. " I'm here to talk to the queen." I said. " I wi get her." Suddenly the door opened and I walked in.

Luna was flying above the castle as she observed Robert as He was let Into the castle.

As I walked into the castle I noticed of grand it looked. The walls were of pure white marble. The floor was made of tile each with its own unique design. As I walked into the throne room a female vocie spoke to me. " greetings, Robert." Said the queen. " how do you know my name?"

" i know every thing about you human." The queen spoke mockingly. " how do you know I'm human?" I said in shock.

" that's not important right now, but what is......" Then suddenly a chair rose beneath me, and I fell into it. I tried to move my arms but ropes strapped them in. Then the queen spoke again, but this time in a more serious tone. " I also know the spell to change you back." She then pointed a stick a t me from the shadows she hid from and a white light hit me. I looked at my self. I was human again. " why do you hide in the shadows?" I asked. " we'll it's difficult telling you but......." She then stepped out of the dark corridor. Oh my god. She was human.
