Blair's P.O.V.

The sound of howls echoes through the territory signaling it is now midnight. It was something they did every night, and since most of the pack members are asleep, it is the perfect time to go for a run.

I quietly tiptoe to my window and push it open slowly, making sure not to make any noises. I latch my hand over the window at the top, lifted my body, and swung my body out of the window, spreading my wings before I took off.

The night is so quiet. I could hear the cricket. The lake shone like a diamond, as the light of the moon shone upon it as I flew over it.

It looked even more beautiful than the last time I saw it.

I circled it before landing and shifting into my wolf. I walked up to the lake edge and dipped my paw inside. It has been 10 minutes since I'm sitting here. Since I already spread my wings, I decided to go on a run before heading back. I slowly started to trot then take off in a sprint. I truly love how the cold air brush against my fur as I run. It somehow helps me to relax and forget about everything.

When I got back to my room, I realize I only have 3 hours before I have to get up and make breakfast for everyone. It's incredible how time flies when you have nothing on your mind.

I can't believe today is the last day I will be 15. After today everything will change, and I hope it's for the better. I'm so nervous I'm don't know what might happen; I hope my mate isn't someone from this pack.

What is that sound?

I open my eyes slowly, then blinking over and over again. I pulled back squinting, as my eyes were caught by the sunlight streaming through the window. I can't believe I forgot to close the window last night after I got back.

What time is it?

Trying to keep my eyes open, I turn to the left to check the time, but the alarm clock is missing.

Oh, wait, I broke it yesterday morning. Damn.

There's that sound again. Listening carefully this time, I realize it's the sound of birds chirping. I lazily dragged myself out of bed, brushed my teeth, and stepped into the shower, and took a quick bath. I changed into a t-shirt and baggy pants.

Unaware of what time it is, I rush downstairs and immediately start preparing breakfast like every day after I grab my granola bar and left for school.

Nobody seems to be paying attention to me as I make my way through the hallways. They're all busy gossiping about the 20 rouges that last night attacked a random pack. Thinking back, I remember hearing about it last night from the guard who was patrolling the territory.

As I enter my first class of the day, I sigh, realizing it was math. I made my way to the back and took a seat by the window. A few moments after the bell ring, I turned to look out the window, spotting the Alpha with his Beta and a couple of warriors talking. It seems like something important.

Smirking slightly, I eavesdrop, "Yeah, man, packs all over are forming alliances for the upcoming attack. They're also wondering who this hybrid is."

"Even the strongest pack is making alliances." John nodded, "When I was small, I use to hear people talking about the hybrid, but I thought it was a legend."

"While I was on my way back, someone told me that the Rogue king wants the Hybrid to breed his pups so that he could have the strongest pack," Clark said. At that, my eyes widen as my wolf Violet said, "What?"

Wait, when did Clark get back?

He is the third in command; he was away for something for the pack, but no one knows for what. His eyes are sapphire, which gives off a mysterious vibe, and his hair is smokey color. He always combs his hair side part, but while some of the guys make fun of it, I kinda like it. After the incident, he and his family moved to the pack. Clark also never did hurt me.

"Good morning class," Ms. Beth smiles as she walks into the class, drawing my attention away from the boys to her.

"Take your class of books out, we're going to look at Algebra," I groan, shaking my head as those words left her mouth. I looked out of the window one more, but they were all gone.

The final bell has rung, and still, no one was paying attention to me, which I am grateful for.

As I was walking through the hall, I spotted Mr. Evens coming out of a classroom. When he saw me, he calls out as I suddenly recall I had detention but forget to go. With that, I turn to the hall on the right and exit school.
