"You lied to me!"
"Only by omission." His voice rung out in my ears making my heart shatter into small pieces.
"Ma lasa banal'ghilana!"
His lips came to a deep frown and his hands firmly to their place behind his back as he eye'd me like a piece of meat.
"What would you have me say? That I was the great adversary in your people's mythology?" His voice raised and I flinched instinctively away.
"I would have had you trust me!" Tears were prickling among my eye's making him blurry to see in my vision, why did this hurt so much?
The anchor on my hand flared up again and I doubled over in excruciating pain as it ran all up into my muscles. Crying out I looked up at Solas with a hateful glare.
"The mark will eventually kill you, drawing you here gave me the chance to save you..at least for now."
"Solas! I won't give up on you." My voice cracking when I spoke trying to get the words out were extremely painful.
"My love, I will never forget you." He walked towards me and pressed his lips firmly up against mine, it meant barely anything to me he left me, he broke me and will leave me again. Tears rolled down my cheeks as he pulled away and with that he walked into the mirror and disappeared
A loud thud interrupted my dreaming state, I was sitting at my desk and Cullen was staring at me with concern.
"Inquisitor, I didn't mean to interrupt you but.." His gaze moved over to my eyes I knew what he was looking at, they were puffy, red and probably bloodshot.
"But?" I answered with a growl looking at the commander that had sudden fear in his eyes.
"I believe we have found-"
"SOLAS!" I jumped up nearly knocking my wooden chair back, I brushed my way past the commander and he sighed in deeply knowing that this was something I have longed so long for it has been a full two years without Solas. If he knew..Boy if he knew what pain he had caused me.
I looked down at my used to be arm; The blank empty space of nothing I cut my own arm off to destroy the anchor's take on me, I couldn't die not now that Solas was out living his path and I knew he was alive. He left me to die. My eyes narrowed at the floor once I reached my door frame.
"Get the soldiers no further questions, Commander Cullen."
He nodded and hurried past me, I watched him take a made dash down Skyhold's hallway once he reached the main entrance I saw his arms flail in different directions and yelling coming from his used to be silent throat, I smirk faintly thanking him in my own mind that he was so loyal to me after all of these years.
"I promised" I whispered inside of my head I will save my love from himself by any means necessary even if that means to be the death of him or the death of me.
