"Woah! Dipper, where are we going?!" I shouted as he dodged passed the trees, him dragging me by only my wrist.

"Anywhere but there!" He said. He abruptly stopped and whistled loudly. I covered my ears. Suddenly a blue and purple thing swished passed us multiple times before stopping in front of Dipper. It was a blue, green, and purple....

Griffon?

"Get on!" He said. I hesitated, because, well...

WHY THE HELL WOULD SOMEONE GET ON A GRIFFON!

"O-ok." I say, getting on behind him. He did some sort of thing to make the griffon go - don't ask me what - and we started soaring through the sky. The window was blowing harshly in our faces.

"SO? YOU HATE YOUR SISTER'S SLUMBER PARTIES SO MUCH YOU TAKE THIS DRASTIC OF MEASURES?" I screamed over the wind beating in out ears.

"YEAH. IT ALWAYS TURNS OUT WRONG IN SOME WAY. LIKE LAST TIME SHE HAD A SLEEPOVER WITH CANDY AND GRENDA THEY PUT US ALL IN COSPLAYS. LET'S JUST SAY I WAS STUCK FOR BEING CHAT NOIR FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK." He screams back. I try to hold in laughter but can't.

"BUT I FELT REALLY SORRY FOR SOOS, THEY DRESSED HIM UP AS A PERSON FROM THAT BAND CALLED 'KIZZ'." He added. By then I burst out laughing. Tears pricked at my eyes. "WHAT'S SO FUNNY?"

"I HAVE FRIENDS BACK IN [town in nearby state] THAT DO THAT ALL THE TIME! THAT'S WHY I THOUGHT IT WAS SO FUNNY, I WOULD TAKE THIS DRASTIC MEASURES IF I COULD."

"OH." He responded. We finally landed at a cave somewhere atop a mountain.

"Dipper, it's amazing up here!" I say, looking at the view while getting off the Griffon.

"O-oh, it's n-nothing really.." I hear him say.

~~Dipper's p.o.v~~
"Dipper, it's amazing up here!" She says. I felt my face heating up as her hair flowed in the wind.

"O-oh, it's n-nothing really..." I say, stuttering. "I just go here when I want alone time."

"Alone time? Why would you want that? I mean, not to be rude, but you have an amazing family." She says. My face was still red, and her's was too.

"Well, Mabel and Stan and the others can be too much sometimes, so I'd call Sky and go up here. Only you and I and the Griffons know about this place." I say.

"Sky? Do you mean this guy?" She points to Sky, my griffon.

"Yeah. I named him sky because the first time I saw him, he was flying. He had suddenly crashed and Ford and I ad to fix him. He had a broken bone in his wing. Now, he's like my pet." I explain, letting Sky lay down.

"Ah, ok." She says, stepping into the cave. Yellow eyes shot open, and she screamed. She fells backwards, scooting away from the creature. It started to stand, and I realized Diamond was still in there.

"Woah, woah! Diamond, she's just a friend!" I say. The white and yellow griffon comes out of the shadows, walking towards [name]. He sniffs [name], and walks back into the cave.

"Geezus!" She says, getting back up. "That griffon hates me!"

"Nah, he doesn't hate you. He just doesn't like people much. I found him there one day coming up here. He's pretty much claimed that cave. I call him Diamond because if you look into his eyes for long enough in the dark, they start to shimmer like gems." I say, motioning her to the cave. Diamond opens his eyes slowly. [name] walks up towards him, putting her hand out. He backs up, snorting. (Play song now) [name] starts to sing, calming him down.
