Well, what now?Landon
I felt my heart drop.
His childhood...friends?
The fûck!?
I stare at them both, but I look over to Jaxon with narrow eyes.
"I'm Denise." Denise says while she tries to walk over to them but I held her still. I feel her glaze on me but I just stare at them.
"Landon." I say but keep my face blank. I feel a pinch on my side from Denise but I don't say anything, or react.
He just smiles while he looks over to Jordan. He walks towards her leaving the two and pulls her to he's side. "And my girlfriend, Jordan."
I smirk because that's first time he called her his girl. About fûckin time.
I look over to the two and see the guy, Cass? Or Clay? I don't know and I don't give a fûck about, smiled. But that girl. I can tell she's going to be trouble.
I look over to Jordan and see her holding the stare with her.
Let me get my popcorn and front row seat to this.
I bend down a little and whisper to Denise, "someone's going to fiiiightt." I said in a teasing voice, but still low.
She looks up to me with a confused face. "What?"
I shook my head with a smile and pecked her lips, "you'll see." I murmured on her lips and pulled her in front of me, hugging her while my chin rest on top of her head.
Jordan
I didn't hear what Jaxon said. All I was focusing on was that girl, Cass. He wrapped his hand around me and I wanted to push them off and walk two steps away from him but her eyes kept me in my spot. Not because I was afraid, it was just in them. They held fury in them when he said something.
I wish I could've heard what he said but I zoned everything out and stared at her eyes.
I smiled, "Hi." I said while giving a shy wave. Clay nodded at me with a smile while Cass...well lets just say she gave a me imaginary wave.
Jaxon walks towards them talking and I look in her eyes and see all the flames disappear in her eyes. I roll my eyes and look over to Landon and see him having narrow eyes at them but hugging Denise. I go closer to them and lean my head on his arm.
"I saw that." He whispers. I look up and still seeing him staring at them.
"Saw what?"
"That look that girl gave you. Some juicy stuff is about to happen." He says while he looks at me in the corner of his eyes.
I roll my eyes and lay my head back on his arm. "Nothing is going to happen."
"What was the look?" Denise said, well murmured from his chest. "Jealousy baby. Plain oh jealousy." Landon said while he pecked the top of her head.
"Yeah. And I don't like it one bit." I murmured to myself.

When we finally left I felt like I was free from being chained up. Her stare was all I can remember when they were talking or would come next to us and ask questions.
Jaxon told them we are going to stay here for awhile but he didn't tell them why. They were both really happy and Clay said we should go out to eat and let them show us around.
We agreed, well except for me. But I didn't say anything. Jaxon said he knew where his old house was, he also said that he never sold it when they moved. So when we got there, the front yard was like a mini jungle. The paint was pealing off the house. We got out of the car, and walked over to the front door. Jaxon said he'll be back while he walked over to the side of the house.
I looked over the door, and then looked up trailing up the door post. Who knows how long this house was untaken care of.
"Wow. What a piece of junk." Landon said but he ended up groaning at the end. I look over to him and see him hunched over holding his stomach while Denise glared at him.
"Don't say that." She hissed in his ear. He nodded and tried to breathe in.
I shook my head, and that's when Jaxon rounded the house smiling. "Still there." He walks up the stairs and goes to the door. I'm at his side and he smiled down at me. "It might need some cleaning up to do." He puts a key in the knob and my face grows in confusion as how he found a key.
We heard the lock click, and slowly Jaxon twists the knob to the right. I was looking at the knob but then stared at the corner of the door so I can see what's inside. He gives it a little push and the door creaks slowly open. He pushes the door a little more and it creaks louder, but he lets the door open by itself.
"Piece of shî-" Landon groaned again, "of spectacular things."
I rolled my eyes at Landon and took a step in. Dust covered the floor. So when I took a step in dust flew up and made me sneezed. I felt Jaxon on my side, "bless you." He murmured then he took a step in, not even fazed by the dust.
I stared at him while the wood would creak right under him. He would look on the wall and see the paint that curled up and left patches of the wall.
He was in his own world, watching the memories pour into his mind. He would take small steps, running a finger on everything.
"I don't know if he turned crazy, or if he's okay." Landon whispered in my ear. I sighed with a smile and looked at him. "He's seeing his childhood." I whispered back.
"Yeah, he's crazy." He took a step in and walked around sneezing every few steps he would take.
"I hate him, but also love him you know." Denise said coming up from my left. I looked over to her and see her smiling at Landon and then looking around the house.
"Yeah." I said while I looked back to Jaxon and see him holding a dusty picture frame. "I know what you mean."
