Ash's POV

I kinda feel bad about what I had said to Serena the other day. I don't why but she looked really disappointed. But, I don't want to think about that right now! I'm on my way to Palet Town!

Bonnie's POV

"I'm really excited to be going to Ash's hometown!" I explained to my big brother. "I'll be getting my starter and meeting Ash's mom and Professor Oak and battling gym leaders!" I looked over at him and he smiled, giving me a half-hearted "Mmmhmm. That great." I tilted my head like I would believe that attitude! I'm not 7 anymore! I followed his gaze to... Serena. Serena? I can't believe I didn't see that before! Poor Serena, she looks so sad! I give Brook a look that says 'We should see what is wrong', he nods. I was about to reach out and ask her what was wrong when Ash shouted "Everybody! Palet Town is right up here!! Hurry!" I ran to catch up and, forgot all about Serena...

Ash's POV

Palet Town is getting closer and closer with every step. I looked back at my friends: Bonnie was running backwards yelling at Clemont and Serena to run faster, while Brock runs right behind me. "Hurry up! We're almost there!" Bonnie yells. I laugh, the sounds bouncing through the air. I pull out my cheeky smile and throw my arms in the air.

Soon I find myself run crazy fast through the town square. I stop myself right before my head slams against a water fountain. My foot lands into the fountain and I fall into a sign, snapping two of its wooden legs. Brock stops short, falling on top of me, snapping the signs other two legs. Bonnie falls into the fountain and gets a face full of water. Serena and Clement walk over to us, stifling their laughter. "Are you 'snort' guys ok? 'Snort' " Serena asks as she slaps a hand over her mouth. They help us up, struggling to keep from laughing. I pull a hand through my hair. Dirt and wood splinters fall out and I spit some mud from my mouth.  I laugh too, trying to get the rest of the gunk out.  Brock pulls off his large backpack and Bonnie sits up in the fountain, shivering. Pikachu sits up too. Oops, I forgot Pikachu was on my head... "Pika pi," Pikachu says gruffly is, crossing his arms. 

I shake the rest of the dirt, wood, and water out of my hair and pick up the sign. Brock takes it from me and brushes it off. "Hey look who it is!" Before I could see it the picture, Bonnie grabs it out of Brock's hands. "Who? Oohhh! It's a mermaid! She is so pretty! Can we go? It says she is doing a show in 15 minutes at the aquarium! Please, pretty please, big brother?" We all looked at Clement. He sighs. " If it happens to be up to me, ok! Let's go!" We all cheer. Brock attempts to show me the girl on the poster but Bonnie drags me away.

I stuff my wallet back into my pocket after paying for our tickets and some snacks. I place Pikachu on my shoulder and follow Bonnie. "Come on, come on!" She shouts, trying to pull her brother along.  She leads us to a row of seats in the back. I smile at Clemont as he takes a seat next to Serena. I chat with Bonnie till the lights dim. A narrator starts speaking and the crowd hushes.

 "Welcome to like, another Sensational Sister shooowww! We are glad to announce the grand opening of the water theater like, right here in Palet Town!" The announcer, a girl with violet hair, was joined by two more girls. I share a quick glance with Brock and mouth 'No way!' "I'm like, Violet!" "I'm Daisy," "And I'm Lily!" Daisy steals the microphone, "Also, remember to like, silence your cellphones!" Lily grabbed the microphone from her, "Unless you're like, taking a picture, then, like, remember to get my good side!" The girls nodded, striking a pose. Lily and Daisy walked off stage, leaving Violet. "Enjoy the show!" The audience cheered, and the lights dimmed. 

"Out here in the quiet of the night,"  A voice sang. The Sensational Sisters had a spotlight and were taking turns reading lines. They were standing on a platform, slowly rising, as an aquarium stage rose under them, just like I remembered. The crowd oohed and ahhed at the beautiful setup. "There once lived a beautiful mermaid."

"Beneath the stars and moon,"  The voice continued. "Who lived in the ocean with her pokemon friends."

"We both know we've got something on our minds,"  "But she dreamed of more."

"We won't admit, but it's true." "She dreamed that one day she would meet her Prince Charming."

The lights go up on the scene. A mermaid jumps into the water and swims around with pokemon in the tank. I hit Brock's leg rapidly. 'I can't believe it! Misty! Misty! Out of all the chances in the world, I found Misty!'

Misty then swims up to a rock, resting her elbows and staring off into the distance. 

"You look at me, I look away." It was then revealed that it was Misty singing the whole time. "She would sometimes see the Prince on shore, unknowing that he loved her too."

"I wanna tell you what I'm feeling," A prince walks on, taking over the singing. "But I don't know how to start I wanna tell you, but now I'm afraid that you might break my heart. Oh, why should anything so easy ever be so hard to do? I wanna tell you what I'm feeling,"
"And to say that, I love you." They sing together. 

"I practice all the things that I could say, Line by line, every word, I tell myself today could be the day, but every time, I lose my nerve..." Misty and the prince sing. 

The expected bad guys appear to steal the pokemon and the prince fights them off. 

"I look at you, you look away..."  They ended. They pull into a kiss and the crowd went wild. I lean back and cross my arms, Brock gives me a shrug. 

The cast comes out for bows and the crowd shuffles out. I grab Brock and we maneuver our way through the crowd. I watch the cast walk towards a gate and book it over. I tap Misty's shoulder. "I'm sorry Sir, we don't do auto- ASH! Hi!" She pulls me into a tight hug and I hug back. We stood there for less than 30 seconds but it felt like an eternity. She let go and gave Brock a quick hug. "What are you guys doing here?" "I was in the area so I wanted to pop by. I met up with Brock at a Pokemon center," I explain. "So you and Brock aren't traveling with each other anymore?" Bonnie, Clemont, and Serena catch up to us. "I'm actually traveling with these guys right now. This is Bonnie, Clemont, and Serena." Bonnie stared at Misty for a minute. 

"Are you single?" She asks. "What?!" Misty shouts. "Will you take care of my brother? I can't watch him forever you know!" "Bonnie!!" Clemont groans. "I'm so sorry about her!" he adds. "Think about my offer!" Bonnie manages to get out before Clemont drags her away, Serena following behind.

"So, want to get something to eat maybe?"Misty asks. 

"Sure! See you at the Palet House at seven?"

"It's a date!"

'A date!'
