he walked down the lonely streets of seoul. it was nine forty three pm and he was coming back from the studio.

he passed by one of the most popular bars in town. he decided to go check it out.

sweaty bodies crowded his tall frame. some dancing, some drinking, and some kissing. he glanced around, looking for the bar and in the process, saw many women eyeing him from head to toe.

a small smirk appeared in his lips. he was quite the charming one. his dark eyes could enamore anyone and anything they laid sight on.

he had finally make it to the bar, when someone bumped into him.

"sorry."

he turned and saw a small girl in silky red dress walking to the dance floor. he was amazed.

her short brown hair looked to soft and her curves were so accentuated in that red dress.

his mouth was dry. of course he had met beautiful women through the years, but something about this girl made his heart beat uncontrollably.

he watched her disappear in the crowd. he was disappointed that he hadnt actually talked to her. he just brushed it off and went for the door.

the cold air embraced his warm body. he took out a cigarette and placed it between his chapped lips.

he reached for his lighter, but found an empty pocket.

"shit."

he looked around and saw a group of girls smoking. he walked over and realized the girl was there too.

she had a cigarette between her fingers, blowing smoke into the cold wind.

he took a closer look at her. she had sharp cheekbones and soft skin.

he came back to reality when he heard her laugh. it was a beautiful melody. he wanted to listen to it all day.

he gathered all his confidence and approached them.

"you mind lighting my cigarette?"

she looked up and smiled.
she took out a lighter from her coat pocket and flicked it on.

he put the stick to his lips and inched closer to the flame. as soon his the paper was set ablaze, he looked into her eyes. he could see her dark irises staring at him.

she cleared her throat and put the lighter away.

"youre welcome."

he gave her a small smile and walked away.

he entered his small apartment. notebooks and scratch paper were piled in every corner. bottles of liquor littered his kitchen counter.

he hadnt written a good song in weeks, and had resorted to drinking in order to let out his emotions.

but it didnt help.

tonight was different. a small spark was ignited in him when he saw the girl.

he sat down on the kitchen table and started to write.

after about three hours, his hand was all cramped up and his eyelids were getting heavier by the minute.

he got up and lazily walked to his bedroom. he plopped down on the bed, not bothering to take off his clothes.

he drifted to sleep thinking about that small spark.

the girl in the red dress.
