Chapter 9

Everyone didn't want to go home but they had to because they had exams coming up. Once Baekhyun and Chanyeol arrived home, they waved their friends goodbye and headed inside. They were greeted by Baek's parents, already waiting for them with smiles on their faces. Baekhyun gave Chanyeol a quick look and Chanyeol assured him gently squeezing his hands.

"Baby welcome home! How was your trip?" Mrs. Byun said. Baekhyun looked nervous. "Oh it was great..." "How about you Chanyeol? How was the trip dear?" Chanyeol gave them a small smile. "It was fun. We had a great time." Mrs. Byun smiled and said that she will assist Mary with dinner. Mr. Byun looked at Chanyeol and then at Baekhyun and trailed his eyes down to their intertwined hands. 

Mr. Byun eyes twitched a bit but then smiled and walked away. "Channie...I-I'm scared..." Chanyeol pulled Baekhyun close. "It's okay babe, let's just go upstairs." Baekhyun nodded and quickly went up the steps, holding onto Chanyeol's hand. Meanwhile in the living room... "We need a way to get Baekhyun to accept the offer. We need something to make him not decline." Mrs. Byun said while thinking.

Mr. Byun smirked. "I know how." Mrs. Byun raised her eyes at her husband's smirk. "What do you mean?" Mr. Byun got up from the chair and hugged Mrs. Byun. "Seems like our dear son already has someone he loves." Mrs. Byun thought for a moment and gasped. "Y-you don't mean?" Mr. Byun smirked once again. "He's in love with Chanyeol. Didn't know my son was gay, but that doesn't matter. We will give him an offer he can't refuse and once Chanyeol leaves, everything will be sent to plan." 

Mrs. Byun smiled and kissed Mr. Byun. "Sounds great honey." They both laughed and then proceeded to watch some tv. Little did they know a certain person was eavesdropping. Mary gasped and quickly ran up the steps to warn Baekhyun and Chanyeol. Baekhyun and Chanyeol was in Baek's room, studying for upcoming exams and was startled when Mary almost burst through the door. 

"Mary what's wrong?" Baekhyun said as he got up and went towards Mary. Mary took deep breaths in and out. "You two are in danger. Especially you Baek." Baekhyun eyes widened. Chanyeol got up and said, "What?!" Mary sighed. "You both are in danger. Baek, the reason why your parents were so nice because they want you to take over the company but have an arranged marriage with it." 

Baekhyun felt like he was going to faint but Chanyeol caught him. "Arranged...m-marriage? I-I don't want to!" Baekhyun felt like he was going to cry non-stop. "Shh it's okay baby, don't cry." Chanyeol looked at Mary. "When will they start this?" Mary gave them a sad look. "They will start once you leave Chanyeol..." Chanyeol eyes widened this time. Baekhyun let his tears fall. Baekhyun turned around and hugged Chanyeol. "P-please don't l-leave me *sobs* Don't go Ch-Channie...p-please...*sobs*" 

Both Chanyeol and Baekhyun knew he was going to leave in two months, but those two months can fly by. Chanyeol hugged Baekhyun tight, occasionally kissing his forehead gently and whispering comforting sweet words. "I won't leave you Baek. Never ever would leave you. We need to think of a plan fast and pretend that we don't know for right now." Baekhyun sniffled and wiped away his tears with Chanyeol's help.

"Okay Channie. We need to think fast before your parents come and get you." Chanyeol nodded. Mary gave them a sad look. "I'll try my best to help you too. I'll do anything, as long as you both are safe and unharmed." Mary gave them one last look and then went downstairs to start up dinner. Chanyeol cradled Baek's cheeks and gently kissed his lips. "Everything will be okay baby. We just need to stay positive." 

Baekhyun hope what Chanyeol said was right. He know what his parents are capable of. He just doesn't know how far they will go to separate them apart. "Come on baby, let's study later." Chanyeol led Baekhyun to his bed and cuddled close together. Soon Baekhyun drifted off to sleep with Chanyeol playing with his hair. Chanyeol smiled down at Baekhyun and thought of ways to help out Baekhyun and for them to be together forever.
