"You know, I'm getting really fed up with seeing you." I snapped, ignoring her harsh threat.
"That's too bad." She lifted her wings and swooped down to meet me face to face once again. "My job is to make sure you fail, it's the only way I can get my horns. I can always request a new assignment, but you're just too much fun. I can tell making you crack will be easier than I expected. Much easier.""That's not gonna - "
"Yes it will." She interrupted.
"Angels are able to sense and create good news, right? Well, we demons have the ability to sense and create bad news. Creating bad news for you and Bailey is going to be simple. I can sense a great catastrophe within you coming. And you're too weak and emotionally stressed to defeat it."I tried my hardest to not look intimidated, but I was. What if the she-demon was right? I retorted with a question.
"If I'm going to b dealing with some nutty she-demon, I'd at least like to know who she is!"
"Oh, excuse me; you're right! Where are my manners?"
"You don't have any."
"Well, Brightheart my real name is Lindz, but my mission title is Razorclaw."Suddenly, a huge expansion of her bulk appeared. Her stick bird legs grew thicker and flesh-toned. Her wings grew into arms and hands tipped with black nail polish. Her ears pointed, and her eyes crimson, with thin, black pupils. Her hair was black, shaggy, and fell back a little past her shoulders. Her bangs covered her right eye. She was a bit over five feet tall, and extremely skinny. Her chest was average sized, but was flaunted a bit more due to her racy uniform: Black jeans that got tighter the lower they fell, added on by black, heeled boots. Her top was a form-fitting bra with spikes emerging from every inch of the cups. Her wings, pitch black and bat-styled with hooks on the tips of their peak. Her smile was fanged, and sinister nevertheless. I stood in awe of her human form, never before have a stood face to face with something of such horrific enthusiasm and true greed. Her skin was bright and her eyes even brighter. She was healthy, and toned. She must have died in her adolescent years, like I did. I wonder what had happened to her...
"Oh my gosh." I spoke.
"I know, I hate my uniform too, it's so uncomfortable; you guys are lucky you get robes, honestly."
"No not that."
"Then what is it?" I didn't know how to imply it, but before I could think of a more subtle translation, the words fell right out of my mouth and into her ears.
"You... You're beautiful."
