The freshers' start

Shruthi's eyes were constantly in search of Arya. Suddenly they were lit up and not more than a second they were widened!

There he was, under the tree surrounded by some men of his age, but the weird thing was that he was shirtless!

Shruthi shut her eyes and tried hard controlling her laughter. She pitied him the next second as she already had the terrible experience of being bullied in front of others!

And Arya, he was facing a horrible situation! Shruthi was thriving to help and marched towards him. But misfortune too followed her. She was stopped by some girls and was enquired. Finding out that two of their gang girls were of the same locality, they offered to give out a helping hand and yeah! She was able to release Arya from that embarrassment!

"Promise me that you'll keep your mouth shut and will never reveal this to anyone"

"Do you really expect me to blabber out that you were standing without your shirt in front of your senior girls to your mom or someone? "

"That's fine! What did they make you do? Are you okay shru? Is everything fine with you? "

"I hope so" I muttered out everything and heaving a great sigh we entered our different departments! She did not forget to notice a smirk over his lips and a wickedness filling his eyes!

After an enthusiastic first class of their college, they stepped out eagerly to have a a fun-filled freshers intro at their auditorium.

All the freshers were assembled there which helped them to break the ice between them and conversations of newly formed friends were heard everywhere.

"Hi I'm Reena''

"I'm Irfaan"

"Shruthi"

"Gaurav"

"Arya"

"Haritha"

These people sat in the same row and munched out forming a new crew of friends.

The stage was brightly lit for the function had to be started.

"Hello my dear friends.... This is Dhruv Prasanna, your college secretary. I'm moreover a student here and as a responsible senior I welcome all your budding brains to function at least in this place. "

The hall was filled with applause and giggles.

There was a person who'd been looking at him with full awe.

"Shruthi, what r u doing, r u seeing him? "

"shut up idiot arya"

"all is fair in love war"

"will you please shut ur mouth. He's my saviour stupid"

"oh yeah! Ur saviour! "

"by the way did u think I didn't notice that girl in pink salwar had been eyeing u since morning? "

"what the.....hello nothing like that okay! "

There was a mutual teasing ceremony between the two when a fierce look from one of their immediate seniors silenced them.

The function had the intro of their professors and seniors who'd taken important posts in the college.

After two hours of intro session, the freshers were called out to expose their talents in any form.

There went Arya, to win everyone's heart with his songs! He won indeed, with his mesmerising voice. He was a great singer indeed!

Shruthi remained silent as she wasn't too brave to dance in front of the crowd.

After so many dances and songs the session ended with Dhruv's note saying,

"I, as the secretary of this college wish all the students, especially girls to be brave and face any kind of situations in and out of the college.Ragging and bullying isn't permitted inside the campus but u can't be followed by rescuers everywhere.Girls need to know the way of saving themselves from becoming Victims.

U shouldn't allow any of ur seniors to touch u without ur permission. You may develop infatuation at this age, as I accept, I'm only a few years elder to u. But that shouldn't take u to a wrong path.

You've spent two years to enter into this campus to gain a seat and so please utilise it to the core. These four years are the most important part of ur lives. So please don't choose the evil way which is easily seen. Search for the hidden right path and stand tall in your parents minds forever.

The entire auditorium was stunned with his way of speech which was given away boldly with his man-nish voice.

And for Shruthi it was like he was talking to her.

Arya didn't miss the chance of getting swears from her for his teasing then.
