Chapter 1: Mango Shake
"Blair! Wake the fuck up!" I was peacefully sleeping and now it's ruined.
Ugh!
Agad 'kong inimulat ang mga mata ko. Si Jaz agad ang bumungad sa akin.
"I'm awake now. God, mas okay pang manggising si Louisse kaysa sayo." I sneered at her.
She rolled her eyes. "You won't wake up kasi," sabi niya. "And by the way, male-late na tayo. Kay, get your ass up now!"
She immediately turned her back to me before going outside my room.
Iritado akong tumayo. I grabbed my towel and went inside my bathroom.
After fifteen minutes, I finished taking a bath. Lumabas ako ng bathroom at pumili ng maisusuot.
At last, I decided to wear my denim jeans and long sleeves cropped top. I paired it with my black Vans shoes.
After putting a lip gloss and mascara, I grabbed my bag from my side table and went downstairs.
Naabutan 'kong nagme-makeup si Jaz. While Louisse is eating her breakfast.
"Come here, Blair." Louisse gestured the chair to me.
I just nodded and sat down. Kinuha ko ang toast bread at fried egg. And then, I started digging into my food.
"Damn, bilisan niyo namang kumain! Male-late na tayo!" Jaz said panicking.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Kanina pa siyang makulit!
I finished my food quickly. Tumayo ako 'nang makainom na ako ng tubig. Louisse did the same. Mamaya sisihin pa kami ni Jaz sa pagiging mabagal namin.
When she saw us walking towards the door she quickly followed us.
Siya lang ang may sasakyan sa aming tatlo kaya siya ang magda-drive. By the way, we live in a same roof. This is actually my parents' old house. Pina-renovate lang siya.
My Mom and Dad works abroad. May kompanya sila sa New York. While Jaz's and Louisse's parents are in the Philippines.
Pinayagan lang akong tumira kasama nila because I have no relatives with me. Sila naman ay nakiusap lang sa parents nila. I'm lucky that I have them. I'm not bragging but the three of us have an almost perfect life. We have the money. Ako ay parents lang ang kulang ko. I missed them.
And of course, walang perpekto sa mundo. Jaz's Mom is already dead. Louisse's family is complete. Pero step-dad niya lang ang kasama ng Mom niya. Her real father has another family.
We all have flaws. I think, kaya kami nag-clicked sa isa't-isa.
"Hey! Tara na. You're spacing out." laughed Jaz.
Inismiran ko lang siya bago sumakay sa sasakyan. Sa shotgun seat si Louisse while ako ay sa passenger seat.
Jaz put the key in the ignition before the car roared to life.
By the way, we all have the same course. Buti nga at pare-pareho kami. I'm not really friendly kaya mahihirapan ako kung wala akong ka-close sa block mates ko.
When we reached the school, Jaz immediately went to the parking area. Dahil mayaman at malaki itong unibersidad na pinapasukan namin ay may sariling underground parking area.
'Nang makababa kami ay agad kaming nagtungo sa first class namin. Pagdating namin sa classroom ay 'tsaka lang ako tinawag ng kalikasan.
