Ok so right now where I live there is a big hype on the show 13 reasons. If you've never seen it, to put it in short it's a show about a girl named Hannah who killed her self and before she died she recorded tapes about the people who contributed to her depression and then sent the tapes to them. Anyway the show is supposed to teach that words really can kill. Now everyone is in there feels and thinking that everyone in the world is depressed. The show had a good message but the watchers didn't really learn a lesson did they? I mean they are just talking about the show and how it's so sad. Don't they realize it's happening around them? Don't they realize that depression is not made up? They say
If someone's depressed you'll see it but they don't. That's the whole thing you can't see if someone is depressed because that person will hide it. They aren't gonna be open about it. The whole purpose at least for me is to be in control of something in your life. Today if your depressed people laugh or comment on how your outfit is ugly or something. Depression is so over used. Everyone is depressed now and if you try and talk about it you can't because it's happening to everyone else too. They are probably going through worse or are constantly suicidal right? Is depression the new norm?
