Chapter 4

At the forest....
"Where is Yume?" Subaru asked himself looking around. He walked around the forest looking for his friend Yume. After 30 minutes of Subaru looking for Yume. He felt tired, he sat down under a shade of a nearby tree. He layed his head on trunk when all of a sudden....
The ground where Subaru was sitting in then open wide making hole, making him fell down in it. "What is this??!!!" He yelled while falling down. He then stopped falling when he found himself on the ground. "Wh-where am I?" he asked himself as he looked around. He can notice the ground has different colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet. The ground is in a rainbow color? His eyes widened. "What the hex? Where am I?" he asked himself. He looked around, it seem like the people around him aren't noticing him. A person then pass through him, it is like he is a ghost. "Am I dead?" he asked himself again. He took a few steps backwards, then again, the ground tear hole making Subaru fell in. "What is happening??!!!" he yelled still falling. He again stopped falling after a few minutes, found himself back in forest where he met Yume. He stood up, dust himself. "What is that place?" he asked. He took out the pink Amulet he found in his bedroom from his bag. "This is so weird..." he thought to himself. The Amulet then glow. "This thing must be magical? I am so dumb, of course, this might Yume's." he said covering his eyes from the glowing Amulet, while holding the Amulet up. All of a sudden, the Amulet forcefully dragged him towards the lake where he fell and almost drown. "Woooaaahhh!!!" he shouted this time holding on the lace of the Amulet. The Amulet dragged him down, deep down the lake, making a big SPLASH as Subaru landed deep on the lake, being dragged by the Amulet. Deep down the lake, he notice himself, he ain't losing breath as soon as he was in the lake. He ain't drowning, then again the Amulet dragged him again to deepest part of the lake, "This ain't no ordinary lake, this is like an ocean." Subaru thought in his mind. All of a sudden, the Amulet dragged him up. Upwards, toward the surface. As soon as he ashored, he pant. "What just happen?" he asked. He coughed out some water he swallowed when he is underwater. "Are you okay?" he heard a cute baby voice. He looked around no one is there. "I'm down here!" the voice said. He looked down, and saw a bird. "My name Maya!" the bird said. Subaru got frightened and surprise when he heard the bird talking to him. "You can talk?" he asked the bird. "I can talk?" the bird asked, "Wait you are right, I can talk!" the bird exclaimed.
"You are a nice birdy right?" Subaru asked nervously. "Call me Maya!" Maya said. "Okay Maya, since you can talk and you can understand me, do you mind telling me what is going on?" Subaru asked calmly. "Because of that Amulet, Yume-chan's Amulet. You are Subaru right? Yume's Friend?" she asked. Subaru nodded. "The Amulet, has magic, the magic of the Amulet can also be used by humans like you. So probably, these are one of the magic of Amulet." Maya explained. "So if Yume is not with her Amulet, she can't understand you?" Subaru asked. "No. Yume is an elemental guardian, she can understand us with or without her Amulet." Maya shook her head, "but she wore the Amulet all the time because she has to guard it. " she added. "From who?" Subaru asked. "I don't know that is all I know, that is all what Yume said to us. His eyes widened, " Men this is hard...." he said to himself.

Faraway from the forest and the village....
An Evil Wizard who lives in a cave. As he stood up from his chair, a pot of slime appeared in front of him. A blue stone he then held up and throw it to the pot of slime. A green thick smoke soon rise up, appearing in the smoke, a clear vision of a brown-haired boy, which is Subaru, showing the wizard that Subaru is holding Yume's Amulet. "This boy can't that annoying princess's friend, but this boy can be my key of taking over. Time to take advantage of you." the wizard thought as he do his evil laugh.
