Chapter 8

Mahiru opens her eyes. "Wh-where am I?" She asked looking around. She finally found herself tied up.
       
"So you're the first guardian to wake up?" He asked.

She looked up only to see a young lad with green hair and white glasses framing his young handsome face. His glasses also matched her bluish green eyes.

He only wore a peasant's clothes yet it was neatly ironed and clean. A white long sleeved undershirt with a brown vest. He also wore dark brown pants with two pockets on its side, and blackish brown shoes.

"Wh-who are you?" She asked, "Why did you kidnap us?"

He looked puzzled, "Kidnap? I'm not the one who kidnap you four." He replied.

"I'm the one who kidnapped you!" A loud voice echoed.

A man with whitish silver gray. His young face matches his red eyes. He only wore a black outfit and black shoes and a dark blue cape.

"It is quite surprising that the Guardian of the Sun is the first to wake up. I was quite expecting for the Guardian of the Moon." He said.

He turned to the green haired boy, "Go, fetch that girl with glasses." He said.

The boy immediately followed him. He came back carrying a short lilac haired girl. She was blindfolded and her red violet glasses were hanging on her shirt's collar.

"Koharu!" Mahiru called.

He put him down gently next to Mahiru, "Don't worry." He whispered to Koharu's ear.

"Master, I believe the others are waking up. Maybe you should go check on them and greet." The boy said.

"That's great. Watch over them." The man said and went to greet the others.
The boy immediately removed Koharu's blindfold and unties Mahiru.

Koharu put on her glasses and saw the boy's clear face. "Kanata!" She exclaimed.

"You know him?" Mahiru asked.
"Yes. He is my friend. But...." Koharu stopped.
"I know, I'm sorry. I only did that because he threaten me." Kanata explained.

He helped Mahiru up and pulls out a stick from his pocket. "I'm a Crystal Wizard-in-Training, but I think I can cast a spell to get you guys out of here." He said.

Mahiru looked at him sternly, "No! I'm not leaving without my siblings." She exclaimed.

"Fine! You guys go and I'll free them." He groaned.

"Free, who?" The man suddenly asked when he came back.

He glared at Kanata as Kanata steps infront of the two girls.

"Escape!" He said, "And oh, tell Ako that Yume is at the forest!" He whispered to Mahiru.

"You know her?" Mahiru asked.
"Yeah, no time explain! Go!" He said.

Mahiru and Koharu flees without Kanata, and Yozora and Asahi. They knew that they have no match to the white-haired man.

"Ako is connected to the plants around here, I'll use my powers to signal the plants in order for Ako to show us the way to escape." Mahiru said as she kept running, her friend running behind her.

Back to Kanata...
"You traitor!" The man shrieked.

Kanata raise his hand to the midair as light came shining from below his feet.

His clothes slowly changing form and color, revealing a navy blue buttoned vest, and long-sleeved white polo. His black plants matched his pair of black with green lining sneakers. A wand appeared in his hand and he pointed it at the man his facing.

"Sphere of Oblivion!" The man chanted as dark spheres came out from his palm.

"Prism's light!" Kanata chanted as a prism came out from his wand hitting the dark spheres and eliminating them.

The man looked shock, for he knew that the boy is still in training.

The man once chanted again, "Shamac!". In both eyes of the man and Kanata, they an only see darkness. However, in the man's eyes, a red light shone on where his enemy is standing. That would only be Kanata's heart.

"Sun Crystal!" Kanata chanted wasting no time.

A yellow-orange crystal grew from the ground before his feet and shone brighter than any source of light.

The darkness fade, the man found out that Kanata found a chance to escape.

He went to the chamber where Yozora and Asahi are.

He widened his eyes, his prisoners escape with the help of the Crystal Wizard.

He only found a shatter stone, which is most likely can destroy any object by hitting it three times.

"He must have used that stone to free my prisoners." He shrieked.

He held his hand, infront of him, "Oh, unseen hand, I want you to find them and bring them to me. And if ever you are able to also find that human girl with glasses, kill her, and also kill that Crystal Wizard, Kanata." He spoke.

He laughed deviously.

At the palace....
"Ako, what are you doing? We have to search for Yume, and Mahiru and her sibling, and that human girl, Koharu." Laura said as soon as she found Ako in her room meditating.

"Be quiet. I'm helping Mahiru and Koharu to escape." She explained.

She held out her both hand appearing a green amulet.

She slowly opened her eyes, "Mahiru, you two climb the highest tree which can be found near a river. At the top, reach out your hands and my fellow nature friends shall bring you to the place you wish to go." She said.

She stood up, "Okay I'm done. They have reached the tree and they shall be safe for now." Ako said.

"Okay? Mahiru and Koharu suppose to be safe for now. Let's go save Yozora and Asahi." Laura said.

"No need! For my friend who became their friend also, Kanata, a Crystal Wizard has saved them. What we can do, is to go Yume's cabin." She replied, "Kanata said Yume was there."

"How about Subaru?"
"I suppose not." She responded.

"Okay! Let's go!" Laura replied.

"Where do you think you're going?" Someone asked as a balck mist surrounded them.

Soon, both of them faint.
