Chapter 1

Have you ever wondered what the other side looked like?

What is beyond the darkness that lingers here.

I feel trapped within these walls.

Will I ever feel free, or while I forever feel the darkness...

Naruto woke up to the sound of his alarm clock ringing. Stretching he got up shivering when his feet touched the cold floor and went to the bathroom to freshen up. His hair was longer down to his shoulders making him look like a mini Yondaime since he undid the henge that made him look stupid.

As soon as he got dressed, which was not his jumpsuit he always wore, this time he was wearing all black except the blue leaf head band Iruka-sensei gave him when he defeated Mizuki he is now using as a belt. He went down stairs and headed towards his door deciding not to eat for he wasn't hungry.

"Well, here I go." Naruto whispered. "Time to drop the mask."

He stepped out the door seeing the village people glaring or ignoring him like usual. But today was different, this time he glared back at them but with so much killing intent they either passed out or was trembling thinking the Kyuubi took over since he has never retaliated back. 

Naruto stopped in the middle of the road making everyone stop and step away. "Ok everyone let's make something clear." He said in an icy tone making them shiver. "If i was the Kyuubi-" They gasped in shock that he knew. "Then I would of killed you all that have hurt me. I keep the Kyuubi from killing all your pathetic life's. Also another thing" he sneered with so much hate "make connections between me and the 4th stupid. He wouldn't just seal the Kyuubi in someone else's child." 

After he said that he started walking towards the academy the villagers clearing a path for him thinking over what he said.

'Maybe I said too much...ah well not my problem.' He thought arriving at the academy. 

As soon as he opened the door he was greeted with a loud voice making him wince.

"What are you doing here dead-last this is for people who graduated!" 

Naruto looked towards the source of the voice to see the Inuzaka boy Kiba and his mutt Akamaru. 

Naruto ignored him to sit next to his adopted sister Hinata Hyuuga. "Hey hinata-chan." He said kissing her on the cheek making people gasp in shock.

Hinata smiled warmly at her adopted brother. "Hello Naruto-kun."

Naruto and Hinata met when Naruto saved her from bullies. They have been secretly friends. They met again when he told her he has a demon in him because of the Mizuki incident. He was crying and hinata went to comfort him when he told her his story she was shocked but still loved him. Though instead of boyfriend and girlgriend she sees him as brother.  

"Oi get away from Hinata dead-last!" Kiba growled out taking Hinatas arm and bringing her close to him not seeing her wince in pain and not noticing to killing intent aimed at him.

Everyone stopped when they felt a huge amount of killing itent and looked towards where it was comming from to see Kiba holding Hinata tightly and Naruto growling.

Naruto stood up as soon as he saw his sister being held harshly by the mutt. His eyes flashed red and a lot of KI rolled off him making everyone shiver.

He walked towards Kiba slowly. Akamaru wimpering behind Kiba  feeling the KI and fearing for his master. Raising his hand toward Kiba he grabbed his throat. "How dare you hurt her!" Naruto growled in a demonic voice crushing his throat tighter making him choke.

"Naru!"

Everyone looked behind Naruto to see.........
