Tom opened he's eyes. He was in the middle of a field with bright green grass with occasion flowers of all kinds. The sky was a light shade of lavender, ranging from red to blue. The sight took toms breath away; he had never seen something so beautiful. He gazed the area, turning around. Then he saw him. The red hoodie shone brightly against the pastel sky. The figure turned around to reveal two spikes of hair. But there was something else to. His right arm was gone, covered in red. No right eye. It was gone, blood dripping from the socket. In fact, his whole right side was  fading away. Into a gold dust. It was so gorgeous that tom barely noticed the gun, until he pulled the trigger.

Tom woke with a cold sweat, siting up with a jolt. He chuckled, wondering why every time he slept the dead man appeared his dreams. He put a hand to his forehead nervously and got out of bed. He glanced at the clock. 4:47. "Whatever. I had to get up soon anyway." I mumbled, walking to the fridge to grab a bottle of vodka.
"I don't think so."
Tom jumped at the voice, making the speaker giggle a bit.
"Relax Tom, its just me."
Edd laughed a little at Toms reaction.
"Sorry Edd, I didn't see you there." Tom said, a little annoyed.
"Obviously. Anyway, me and Matt are going to the store, I ran out of cola. Wanna come?" He asked, his smile crooked.
"I guess, I'm already up." Tom answered.
I'll go, for Edd and Matt. He thought as he put the bottle back in the fridge. He knew that Edd didn't approve of his drinking problem.
"Great! Let's go!" Edd grabbed toms wrist and pulled him out the door.

Time skip (like 6 mins or something)

"Alright, let's get going!" Edd said cheerfully once every one got ready. Well not really get ready, Matt just made me and Edd change out of our pajamas and into our hoodies. We still looked bad, it was like 5 in the morning.  We started to walk to the store, hands in our pockets.
"So, Tom. How have you been?" Matt asked. He and Tom hadn't talked much sense the 'incident'.
"Good. how about you?" Tom looked up at Matt.
"good, but my face is doing even better!" Matt said as he looked at himself in a small pocket mirror. Tom laughed. Matt never failed to cheer Tom up, even if Matt was a little annoying and self absorbed at times.

They finally got to the store.
"alright, im off." Edd said as he sprinted off to the soda isle.
"Me to!" Matt walked over to the giant mirrors. Tom rolled his 'eyes' and walked out of the store, pulling a flask out of his hoodie pocket. He took a swig, the burning liquid trickling down his throat. Tom was just about to go back when he felt something cold and metal press against the back of his head .
