Chapter 3

I look around me trying to think of where I'm going to stay, not just me but this baby in my tummy as well. I signed loudly thinking about my life and what I'm going to do with it, a tear escaped from my eye as I walked through the dark street when suddenly a car splashed dirty rain water on me.

I looked at my clothes as I curse at the car, I signed again while I prepared a bed on the floor so I can sleep. I laid down as I slowly drifted off to dream land.

I woke up feeling someone gently shaking me, I looked up at a boy around 19 with a surprise face, " may I help you" I said feeling annoyed and angry at the same time. " no not really I was just wondering what a beautiful girl like you is doing sleeping on the street", he replied with a sincere voice. " well I don't know you enough to tell you my life story so to cut it short why don't you take your ass, somewhere and look for another slave" I said with so much bitterness radiating off every word.

he looked surprise when I said that , as if he wasn't expecting. " I'm sorry for trying to be nice, but next time I will just leave you there bitch", he said getting angry I felt sad but I didn't want to burst my ego so I said, " I ain't no bitch, bitch" he then smirked and said " what are you then if not a bitch?" he asked, I didn't reply just stared when I remembered that I had nowhere to stay tears began sliding down my cheek

" I'm sorry did I hurt you?" he asked looking sad, " no, is just I have nowhere to go" I said

he looked at me and smile "how about you stay with me, but I have rules". he asked me, I thought for a moment I don't know this man for all I know he could be a rapist or a serial killer. " trust me am not a rapist or a serial killer for that matter" he said like he read my mind.

" what are the rules" I said

"well you have to go to school also have a curfew" he said

" that's it?, "yeah" he said
