CHAPTER TEN

*~Dream~*

'Get away!' A little raven haired girl screamed trying to keep herself from crying. She was holding a little red panda in her arms defensively away from a growling wolf. She timidly to a few steps back as she was hyperventilating in fear as the beast drew closer to her.

Without warning the wolf leaped towards her making her scream and cover the red panda. 'Look out!' Was the last thing she heard before she was pushed out of the way and blacked out.

She slowly opened her eyes and found the red panda licking her cheek. She smiled knowing that her little friend was okay. 'Ouch!' She heard someone groan in pain. She found a young raven haired boy gripping his bleeding hand whilst he was throbbing in pain and trying his best not to cry.

'Are you okay?' She asked the boy. 'I'm fine.' He said abruptly. 'But you're hurt.' She pointed out.

'It's nothing serious. Don't worry.' He insisted.

The girl looked at his injury. It looked pretty serious and if it wasn't attended to immediately, it would get infected. 'Please don't tell anyone about this.' She told him. The boy was confused with what she told him. The girl hesitantly took his hand. 'And please don't freak out.' She said before closing her eyes. Suddenly, a white energy appeared from her hands. The boy's eyes widened. After some minutes the glow disappeared. The girl removed her hands, revealing the boy's hand. It looked as if nothing happened.

'Wow!' The boy exclaimed happily. 'It looks as if nothing happened. Thanks.' He turned to the girl with a smile but later frowned after seeing the worried expression on her face. 'What's wrong?' The boy asked.

'I don't really feel comfortable using my powers. Papa says that if I shouldn't use them because I might hurt people if I can't control them.' The girl said playing with her thumbs.

'Are you kidding me? Having powers to heal is amazing!' The boy exclaimed as he grabbed her shoulders. She was surprised by his gesture. 'S-so you're not scared of me?' The girl asked making him laugh. 'Why would I be since you did me a huge favor.' He smiled. 'Besides I won't tell anyone. I promise.'

'Thanks.' The little girl smiled.

'So what did that wolf want with you?' The boy asked her. 'Well it wanted my little friend here.' She showed him the red panda. 'His name is Miki. He's a red panda from Earth. My daddy gave him to me on my birthday.'

'Wow! He sure is an interesting little fella.' He examined the creature closely before looking at the girl. 'How did your dad travel all the way to Earth? As far as I know, Earth is like a couple light years from here.'

'Oh my papa is a witch. He used a Rift Gate Spell to teleport himself there.'

'Rift Gate Spell? Wait a minute, are you related to Elijah Blackwaters, Grand Witch of the Bavion Clan?'

'Yeah. How did you know?'

'That's awesome! He's working together with my dad on his Rift Gate project. I'm quite sure you're familiar with Sir Edward.'

'Oh yeah!' The girl replied with realization. 'You're his son?'

'Yeah. My dad always tells me awesome tales about your dad's travels. Even the tales about him helping the Galalunian Army in the fight against the Mutraddi on their planet Mutradd.' The boy said with enthusiasm. 'Well, he not only help them, he even infiltrated their base of operations.' The girl replied with a boastful smile. 'Wow! Your dad is so awesome. It's a huge honor to meet face to face with Elijah Blackwaters' daughter. The man who gave my dad the inspiration to build a device that enables people to travel across galaxies in a matter of seconds!' He said.

Wow! This boy sure is enthusiastic. 'I could say the same to you, Sir Edward's son.' She replied with a smile. 'My name's Lance by the way.' He replied with a smile. 'I'm Mary Katherine, but you can call me MK if you find my full name a mouthful.' She returned the smile.

'Mary Katherine...that's a pretty name for a pretty girl.' Lance said thoughtful. MK's cheeks turned red and quickly looked away trying to hide her blush. 'Thanks.' She mumbled.

'Lance,' MK mumbled in her sleep.

Wassup, wassup, wassup! Chapter Ten is out. I apologized for making it short. Didn't have much to write but I'll try to make the next chapter longer.
