Chapter 2
Luke's P.O.V.
"You can have this back! I fucking hate you Lucas Robert Hemmings!" the mysterious girl in front of me screams, throwing a necklace on the floor, then running out of the house.
I bend down to pick up the necklace. I examine it closely. One side says always and the other side says. Luke. I pop the necklace open to reveal a picture of me and that girl covered in paint.
Wait that's not just any girl that's. Claudia.
I pull out my bracelet from my wallet and there it was. Always incarved On one side and Claudia carved on the other.
Oh shit.
She's remembered and missed me all these years, and I forgot about her just like that. Wow I'm the worst best friend ever!
I jump up and sprint to the door. I have to find her. I run outside and check all around the house. No Claudia.
I check all around the neighborhood. No Claudia. Lastly, I check Starbucks and luckily she's there. She's such a white girl. I walk over to here table and sit down.
"Go away Luke." she says turning to face the window.
"Look Claudia I'm sorry."
"Well sorry isn't going to help. I was stuck in that hell joke orphanage for 3 years. I hated my life and wanted to die! I wanted my life to end right then and there, but I didn't do anything because I knew i'll get out of there someday and I could have my best friend to talk to. I guess not though, I guess you didn't mean always. I was stupid enough to make a promise again just to get it Broken. leave me the fuck alone and go hang out with your new best friends Luke!" she half yelled, everyone was now staring at us.
"Look I'm so sorry, I promise it'll never happen again."
"Yeah. It won't happen again cuz I'm done with your shit!"
"Claudia, your just making this worse by yelling." I try to calm her down.
She just gives me a pissed off face, then She gets up and walks away, as do I. I run to Michaels house and slam the door.
"Dude are you okay. What was that all about?" Calum asks concerned.
"No I'm not okay! I'll never be okay again because I was a dick and forgot about my best friend when she needed me most!" I run passed them.
I run to Michaels room and lay on his bed. Before I knew it I was crying.
I started breathing hard and everything got blurry, then it was dark.

I woke up in a hospital room. "What the fuck." I mumble as I sit up.
Claudia walks in with 2 bowls of ice cream.
"Claudia, I'm so sorry! I promise i'll never hurt you like that ever again. Also why am I in here?"
"Well first, I forgive you, and second you had an anxiety attack earlier."
"Oh" I simply respond back.
"Can I have my necklace back?" she says, handing me a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
"Yeah" I say, reaching in my pocket and pulling out the necklace. I hand it to her.
"Thanks" she says putting it around her neck.
"I'm really sorry and if there's anything I can do to make it up to you I will." I say.
"How about paint ballon fight at your grandmas house?" A smirk plasters across her face.
"Okay once I get out of here ill get the paint, you'll get the balloons and let ClaudiaandLuke day start."
She just smiles and we sit and talk for about an hour.
"Mr.Hemmings your free to go, just check out in the lobby." my nurse, Carrie, walks into my room.
"Okay." I say getting up and getting all my things. I was about to leave when I remembered Claudia, I turn around and as usual I find Claudia asleep.
Oh Claudia.
