On Our Way

Ace's POV

We sat in an aircraft headed to New York. Dom had told us all about how Cipher had kidnapped Elena and how he found out he had a son. I wasn't mad at him because when he was with Elena we were not together. I was happy he was back and I was back.

 I had just got changed into some different clothes to get out of the nasty wet clothes. I walk out to see Tej leaning against the wall like he had messed up.

"What did you do" I said looking at him

He was about to answer but he was caught off my Hobbs saying we were at the New York base.

"We will talk about this later" I said walking over to the door to get out of the aircraft.

"About that" he said I was confused until I saw my brother walking over to me.

"Brian I can explain" I was engulfed into a hug I hugged back crying

"Why didn't you tell us? You need to be so closed off we are your family" he said

"I couldn't live with the fact that you guys were in danger" I said now looking him in the face "If I didn't leave you guys would have been killed" 

He just held me as I cried. He ended up lifting my head and wiping my eyes.

"Come on stop crying let's go it's all gonna be okay" he said as we walked over to where the rest of everybody else was. I just couldn't shake that in the back of my head that this isn't over.

As we walk over I see that Dom was on the phone I looked at him to see who it was.

He mouthed Nikki as I sat on his lap. 

"Nick, please tell me you're joking and you haven't been sleeping with that Harry Potter reject." Roman said.

"That's for us to know and you to wonder about, buddy."

"Get it Nick!" I said laughing

"Hi to you too, Ace" she said making me laugh.

"I'm just saying, Toretto, I just might end up being your brother in law by next year. Because there's no way I'm ever letting your sister go." We heard Deck say and Dom just rolled his eyes and nuzzled his face in my neck.

"You say that as if we're together, and I don't remember ever being asked to be anyone's girlfriend, so. There's that." I hear Nikki through the phone and it reminded me of how she picked on Dom and I all the time.

"Nick, shut up, you two are practically married already. I mean really, you're taking care of a baby together, you're all over each other, you look at each other with so much adoration and love without realizing it, and you two worry more about each other's safety than your own. The only thing missing is a ring and the papers for it." I said and everyone was silent from what I said.

"I was gone for two weeks, Nikki. How the hell did you manage to fall for Deckard Shaw in two weeks?" Dom said making me laugh

"My money's on the accent." Brian said and I was waiting for Nikki to freak out.

"Brian?" she said as you can hear the excitement in her voice

"The one and only, kid." he said 

"Kid? I'm literally only a year younger than you and I'm older than your wife. So if I'm a kid, Mia's a baby and therefore you've had two kids with a baby, so ha!" You can hear the Toretto sass as she said that

"Hey Nikki," Mia laughed.

"Hey, chica," 

"So, Deckard Shaw? The same Deckard Shaw that put Hobbs in a hospital, killed Han, and nearly killed us?" He asked as I gave him a look and he did the same just to mock me.

"The very same." she said 

"Alright. Well. Deckard, you still listening?" Brian said as I rolled my eyes

"Here comes brother Brian. Ace how the hell do you deal with this?"

"A lotta patience, babe." I said looking at Dom as he smirked kissing my cheek.

"Yeah, I'm here O'Conner."

"If I find out you hurt her at all or do anything wrong, we're all coming for your ass. If you so much as don't take out the trash when she asks, you may as well sign yourself into a hospital. You ever put her in more danger than she wants, we will eat you alive." Brian said as all of us nodded in agreement even though she couldn't see us

"We're gonna give you one chance with her. And that's it. One chance to prove yourself to us that you're good enough for her. Fair?" Dom said as he cut in.

"Fair. We should go. We've got a baby to get to sleep. Toretto, we should be there by dinner tomorrow." Deckard said I look over to see the happiest Iv'e seen Dom in forever.

"Alright. We'll see you two tomorrow."  with that he hung up.

"Ace can I talk to you?" Mia said 

"Yeah" I said as I got up from Dom's lap and walked over to the balcony showing the most perfect view of New York City with Mia.

"What's up?" I asked as I leaned on the railing.

"How do you feel about the baby?" she asked 

"I'm honestly scared but Dom and I talked about having kids before" I said.

I was scared but I will get used to the fact that now we have a little one around. I'm gonna be a mom.

"It's normal to be scared but always remember you have that baby to look out for" Mia said I could tell she was nervous because she knows first hand on how it is having a baby in this family.

I gave her a hug and we walked back in to see all the guys talking and joking around like good old times.

Dom's POV

Now this is what I missed being home with my family. Pretty soon my son will be here with us and our family will be complete.

Ace had come back in from talking with Mia. As she was walking over to me I just couldn't keep my eyes off her. She was back and this time she will never leave me.

"Whatcha looking at?" She asked making me come back to Earth.

"My beautiful wife" I said earning a blush and a kiss.

"What!! When did you guys get married?" Roman said making Ace laugh.

"Right before she disappeared we made the decision to get married" I said grabbing Ace by the waist and putting her on my waist.

"Ace why did you leave?" Roman asked

"Let's talk about it a different time all that matters right now is that we are all here and tomorrow the rest of the family will be here" she said

Why did she leave and why won't she tell us. Maybe that's why Brian is back.

"Baby, did you hear me?" She asked

"Sorry baby I was thinking"

"I was justing asking you want to go-to bed we gotta big day tomorrow" she asked I nodded and she grabbed my hand.

We made it to our room for the night. We got into our pajamas and we laid there for awhile I was almost asleep until I heard.

"Always know I love you Dominic Toretto" Ace said

I just pulled her closer to me and kissed her forehead.

"Ride or Die babygirl...Ride or Die"
