*Jayden's POV*
I want to date her so bad but my parents want me to date a guy named Jason. I don't even like him, I guess I haven't told my parents I am lesbian. God I have to do that tonight before the 'date' that they set up that I didn't get any say in it.
"Hey um, Lexie?" I ask touching her arm. Looking in her eyes, god how am I going to tell her that my parents want me to date Jason and not her, oh and that they don't know I am lesbian?
"Yes?" She asks innocently. Stepping closer to me.
"Can we talk in- Private-? I asked. She cocked her head which by the way doesn't help at all.
"Sure!" She says grabbing my hand and running to the nearest bathroom.
"So what did you want to tell me?" Lexie asks.
"My parents set me up with this idiot named Jason, and I don't like him because honestly he is a jerk. I have to go on a date with him tonight because my parents are forcing me to against my will. Trust me I don't want to go but I don't have a choice unless I tell them that I am lesbian and DON'T like boys." I say.
"Oh. Well how about I come over before the 'date' and you can tell them then." She says, nodding at her own thought.
"Maybe that will work. They are really stubborn though that is the only problem." I say.
"That doesn't matter. You know me and I am pretty persuasive." She says.
"True that." I say I pull her in and kiss her.
"We need to go somewhere else than school plus school is almost over so lets go to my house." I say. She looks at me and smiles that adorable smile. God why does she have to be so cute?
"Okay." Lexie says. Taking my hand and walking out of school and running to my car and hopping in the passenger seat.
" Lets go. So what music do you like to listen to?" I ask.
" Hmm. T.N.T By ac/dc." She says turning on the radio.
"Oh yeah! I love that song!" I say turning on the car and buckling my seat belt.
"We have so many things in common!" She says. And before I know it we arrived at my house and we are walking up to the front door.
" So what are we going to say?" Lexie asks.
"Lets just go with it." I say opening the door.
"MOM! DAD! I'm home and brought a guest." I say looking upstairs.
"Hello honey. Hello, I am Mary Jayden's mom." Mom says shaking Lexie's hand.
"Honey you need to get ready for your date with Jason." Mom says walking into the kitchen.
"Um yeah about that. I don't like him or any guys. Mom, I am um- um-" I say now getting scared to tell her.
" Go ahead Jayden tell your mom." Lexie wispers in my ear.
"Tell me what?" My mom asks now facing me. Why do moms have to hear everything?
"Mom, I am lesbian. I don't like guys and I am NOT going on a date with Jason." I say feeling a weight lifted off my shoulders.
"Um, Okay." Mom says her hands start shaking a tiny bit and she turns around and opens the fridge and gets strawberries out.
" This is awkward." Lexie says starting to sway back and forth on her feet.
" So is this why Lexie is here?" Mom asks looking at Lexie while she says that.
"Yes. I am in love with Lexie and I want to be with her but I want your approval." I say grabbing Lexies hands.
"If you it makes you happy you can date her." Mom says looking into my eyes.
"Yay!! Lexie will you go out with me.?" I ask.
