Unpredictable (Cashton AU)

Prologue

So me and my friend @fangse wanted to write a Cashton story cause we were kinda mad that there went a lot of Cashton fanfics so we came up with a bunch of ideas and decided to write this one cause why not? we hope you guys enjoy it!

Calum stood by the door and adjusted his blazer that was hanging on his shoulder instead of actually being on him. He was looking for a sub and his best friend Luke recommended this place to him cause this is where he met his sub, Michael and now Calum was standing at the place still not impressed with any of the subs they've shown so far.

The room was filled with Rich business men and women. Some of them got their subs and left already but there was about twenty of them still in the room including Calum.

"Last but not least, we have a special treat for you guys because today we have a rare sub that I'm sure all you would love to get your hands on," the tall man on the stage said catching Calumet attention.

He stood up straight and looked towards the stage. What can he say? He was curious.

"This one is a hybrid," the man said and earned gasped all over the room. Hybrids were extremely rare and amazing. Calum couldn't believe his ears but most of all couldn't believe his eyes when they brought out the small fragile boy out on the stage. He was completely naked with his arms wrapped around himself.

Calum was completely mesmerized. The boy was absolutely.... Beautiful. He wanted him and he wanted him now.

"Name Ashton, 19 years old, hybrid cat....," The man continued to describe the boy but Calum wasn't even listening anymore he was just looking at the boy. His curly hair damped across his forehead, his small kitten ears poking out from his curls and his somewhat green eyes staring at Calum just as much as Calum was staring at him. He was on the verge of tears and that broke Calum's heart.

"The bidding will start at ten thousand,"

"20!" A man shouted from the other side of the room.

"50!" Another said and the man on the stage smiled.

"100!" A woman shouted from the back.

"Anyone else wanna go higher?" The man smirked and Calum decided that it was his turn to speak.

"$500,000," he said and everyone around the room gasped including the hybrid on the stage. Calum walked up to the stage and repeated the amount again.

"No one else?" The man asked and the room went silent. "Okay sold to this young gentlemen right there, what's your name son?"

"Calum Hood," he said and the man nodded.

"Come with me backstage so you can take your hybrid." He said and Calum nodded. He took the folder on the table with all of Ashton's information in and called his driver to bring the car around.

Once backstage, he wrote the check and could finally get his hybrid. He walked up to the small boy sitting on the chair still with nothing but his birthday suit on. His arms were wrapped around his entire body. He whimpered when Calum tried to touch him and flinched a little which broke Calum's heart to a million pieces.

"Hello love," he whispered and tried to take Ashton's hands in his own.

Ashton looked up at Calum and gave him his hand to help him stand up. He was still scared but the small smile Calum gave him made him feel safe.

"I'm gonna take you home with me now okay?" Calum said and Ashton whimpered a little when he tried to stand up. Calum realized that he had a tail and he had marks all over his back. Did they abuse him there? He asked himself and couldn't believe why anyone would hit someone like that. "Don't be scared, please? I won't hurt you. I promise." He said and Ashton nodded.

"Want me to carry you?" He asked and Ashton blushed but nodded. Calum picked him up struggling to carry the boy and the folder in his hands at the same time so he told Ashton to hold the folder while he carried him. He made it out to the car and had his driver open the car door for him and placed Ashton down then sat next to him.

"Nate, do you by any chance have a blanket in the car by any chance?" He asked his driver and he nodded and tossed him a blanket in the back. He wrapped it around Ashton and brought the boy closer to him. Ashton curled up on Calum's lap while Calum played with his hair. Nate was in the front minding his own business while listening to twenty-one pilots. That's why Calum liked him.

"Are you ever gonna talk to me love?" Calum chuckled while rubbing circles with his thumb on the boy's thigh.

Ashton looked up to him and whispered, "hi," his voice was so small but that one word made Calum smile like an idiot.

Ashton laid his head back on Calum's chest and immediately fell asleep. Calum kissed the boy's forehead lightly and continued playing with his curls.

"He seems really nice," Nate spoke up from the driver's seat in the front and Calum laughed.

"He is," he whispered and looked at the beautiful boy sleeping on him and smiled.
