Jamie had always been a bit spacious, he'd look off toward the wind and stare, as if he had been looking for something...someone. That something or someone was never found, yet he ran and played as if he'd found it, he would claim to control the wind if he was angry it would be more fierce if he was sad it was low and cold. The young boy loved sitting outside on a windy day and watching the trees sway, he loved the way it made the air smell, how everything looked. Some days in class he would stare off outside and forget what was happening around him, nothing mattered anymore except for the wind, it was his best friend. The only thing that understood his world, how he felt, how he thought; it was almost like a mother to him. Jamie had friends but they thought he was ridiculous for what he did, he wasn't allowed to play games with them because he would call on the wind to help him to win, even if the wind never showed he claimed it did and soon they left him altogether. He had a crush on a nice little girl named Briana, she had red bows in her dark brown hair that was kept up in pigtails, she wore different cute dresses every day, some were flora others were solid colors, they all were dazzling to Jamie, she also treated him differently, she didn't make fun of him or think he was a freak. Briana came from a rather rich family, her mom was the mayor and her dad owned a huge company, she had a really big house with so many rooms. Jamie walked home with her occasionally, Briana enjoyed walking with him and watching him play with the wind, she thought it was cute and charming, she had grown to adore him, she may even say she loved him. She feared he'd grow out of wanting to play with the wind but then something magical happened.
