A.N All the character's names in this story, are names of people I know. I actually know a girl named Felix Michigan, from Australia.

I went from shorts to legging, as I boarded the plain for America. I told my family and Jess good-bye the night before, knowing it would be unreasonably early to do it this morning. I handed the very nice lady in a dark blue suit, my ticket. "First class. Just go up right here. Seat 2A." I nodded my thanks as I found my seat. First class, was very classy. Pun intended. You got full meals, and presidential treatment. I actually didn't want to get off the plain, but I had to eventually.

I woke up just as we landed. There was a thick blanket of snow that covered the ground. Flakes were still falling as we departed from the plane. Someone handed me my bags as I entered the airport. I usually wait, but first class still gets special treatment. I found my way out if gate D2, and noticed people with signs. Names were on these signs, last names. Luckily mine was in the front, with a lady calling my name. "Miss. Michigan." I met her as she introduced herself. "I'm Danica Keller. I'll be your guide here in New York." She had a sweet tone to her voice. I followed her outside to a waiting Mustang. I just had a Ford Focus. I put my things in the trunk and got in the passenger seat. "You'll be staying in l'albergo di Italia. One of the best here in the city." "The Hotel of Italy." I confirmed , and stared out the window in amazement. The buildings were just so tall and interesting.

We eventually stopped moving as Danica opened her door and got out. I did so as well, and looked down upon the concrete. New York. I thought. Im actually in New York. I went to help Danica get my bags out the trunk, as another taxi pulled up in front of us. It was actaully him. Shaun White. I let out a little squeel and Danica looked at me confused. "What was that?" She asked me with a giggle. "Were friends right Danica?" I asked and she nodded. "I hope to be better ones soon, but yea." I duncked out heads under the open trunk. "Im totaly fangirling right now." She smiled. "For Shaun?" I nodded. He walked toward the hotel doors, as we followed behind with my bags. "Hey White!" Danica yelled, getting his attention. "Danica?" He asked and she nodded. He dropped his backpack, and gave her a hug. "I thought you quit?" He asked her releasing. "I did. And found a diffrent job! For the same company." He chuckled. "I want you to meet someone." She said pulling me up next to her. "This is Felix Michigan. She's here for the Olympics too." His eyes lit up, happy to meet a new athlete. "What are you competing in Felix?" He asked. "Halfpipe and freestyle." His smile grew. "Hey, me too." He looked down at his wrist and picked his backpack back up. "Sorry I gotta go so soon. See you two ladies later." He did a little wave befor jogging into the Hotel. We picked my bags back up, and entered the hotel. "Are you like.. In love with him or something?" My eyes got wide as she laughed. "I am not in love with Shaun White. We just admire his work back home. Thats all." Danica rolled her eyes. "Sure." I gave her my signiture look of dumbass. "For your information,I just broke up with my fiance a month ago. To focus on training." She giggled, as my cheeks turned rosey. "You like him." I decided to discontinue the conversation, to check in. "Felix Michigan." I told as the nice lady typed it in. "Miss. Michigan, youll be in the 4th floor. Room 402." I took the key, and thanked her. "So will you Danica." They both put on this smile. It looked.....a bit too happy. I discarded there expression, and proceded to the elovater. Danica stood beside me, waiting. "So....what was your job?" I asked, and she turned to me with a seriouse look. "Ive workes for the Olympic commity at Vancover, and in London. And they wanted me to do all these diffrent impossable things. So i quit. Now im a guide." The elivator opened and we stepped in. "Did i tell you, you have a very cool accent." I smiled. "Thanks." Ive never gotten that. I always thought my dad had a cool accent, simce he was from America. "Wait." Danica said leaning in front of me to look at my face. "You do have citizanship right."

"Of course." I told her in a cool tone. Ive had citizenship in the U.S since birth. I was born here. "How do you know Shaun?" I asked as we exited the lift. "I caught him sneaking into one of the restricted area in Vancover. It sparked a friendship." Why? Just why?
