Charlie's p.o.v
I rolled my eyes and closed the curtains. I returned to the freezer. I heard a knock. I ignored it. Another knock. I continued to ignore it. Another knock. I finally got annoyed and went back to the door. I moved the curtains and crossed my arms. "What do you want?" I said in annoyance. "I want to talk to you charlie, please let me in, it's raining and I'm wet and cold." He said, shivering.
"Why should I let you in when you didn't even care that I walked all the way home in the rain, and I don't want to talk to you." I rolled my eyes again. "Please charles, let me explain myself, please" he said between shivers. I sighed and opened the sliding door. He came in dripping wet. I walked over to the dryer and grabbed a clean, warm blanket. I handed it to him and he wrapped it around himself. I sat down at the table and he just stood there. "Are you gonna sit down or just stand there like the statue of liberty?" He quickly sat down.
"I'm so sorry Charlotte. I don't know why I said that, it was very rude and stupid of me. I really didn't mean it. I'm just not use to other people being still and all that. You know with my job, I move around a lot and other people do too. And i dont know what was going through my head when I said it was over, I fucked up. I want you back charlie. Please take me back." I looked at him and he had the saddest look in his eyes. I sighed and grabbed his hand. He looked down and saw that the promise ring was still on my finger
"You still have it? I thought you would of thrown it into a river or something"
"Of course I still have it, it's really the only thing anyone's ever given me, ill keep it on forever but ill take you back chan but please never call me lazy again or I'll kick your ass." I said, chuckling.
"Trust me Charlie, those words will never come out of my mouth ever again, but do you forgive me?" He said with puppy dog eyes. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Of course I forgive you idiot"
"Charles what's tak- uhm, what is he doing here?" Dylan Said, crossing her arms over her chest. My attention left chandler and went to my best friend. "Uh, he came to apologize and we're back together." I nervous laughed.
She walked over to chandler and slammed her hand down on the table, making him jump.
"Listen dickhead, if you ever ever hurt her again, I will personally kick your ass myself." You could tell chandler was a little scared because his eyes went big and he nodded quickly. "Understood dylan."
"I'm getting the ice cream since you're taking so long Charles" she walked away from the table and to the freezer. She grabbed the gallon of cookies and cream and went back in the living room.
"So you wanna go watch a movie with us?" I said getting up from the chair. He followed my actions. "Sure sweetcheeks. As long as I get to sit next to you" he smirked.
"Okay sweetcheeks."
