The tournament had been flying fast and I pulled the Canada jersey over my gear, my hands shaking as I ran it over the front.

Today was the game against the States, and I was going to do everything in my power to win this game for Canada.

"Raiyne." Sidney Crosby laughed lightly.

"I am so nervous." I whispered, glancing up at him. "Plus I'm playing on a team with the golden kid."

He laughed lightly and nudged my shin with his stick.

"Raiyne, you wouldn't be here if you weren't good. So come on, we have some American ass to kick." Sid laughed.

I laughed and stood up, shaking my shoulders and jumping up and down lightly on my skates.

"Hey Matt, wanna know something?" I smiled.

"What's up?" He asked.

"I'm on team Canada, and I'm gonna kick some American ass, and Sunday is gonna be Sweden, bragging rights for the girlfriend!" I cheered.

The guys laughed and I took off my necklace, holding it in my hand before I closed my eyes.

"Hey Carmin, this is for you." I whispered, hanging the necklace on the hook in my cubby. "I'm winning this for you."

--

We were on edge, the States were putting up a fight, but we were not going down easily. My heart was in my throat as I slammed the puck at Jamie Benn, hearing the buzzer sound and pumping my fist into the air.

"What a shot!" I cheered.

"What a pass!" Jamie praised.

I took a deep breath and took my place on the bench, bumping shoulders with Matt.

"Beauty." He laughed.

"Lucky pass." I breathed.

--

I slammed Kessel into the boards and picked up the puck, rushing my way down the ice, bringing my stick back for a slap shot, the buzzer ringing out before I could follow through and I sighed out a breath of relief.

I leaned on my blades, spinning myself in a tight circle as I joined the group in the middle of the ice.

"Gold medal game baby!" I laughed, smacking Matt.

"That's the way!" He smiled.

--

I pulled out a chair and moved to sit as all the guys looked at me, some familiar faces from games and others you just said 'hi' to in the dressing room.

"Sorry, was I not part of the team dinner?" I mumbled.

"No, you just-" Crosby started.

"You look amazing in a dress." Jamie blurted.

"I don't wear them often." I smiled lightly. "You don't look bad yourself Benn."

Matt shook his head, "Might wanna be quiet before Gabriel finds out." He teased.

I bent my arm to brush my hair from my face and flexed as I did it.

"Do I look like I should be scared of Gabriel?" I asked, shocked faces glancing at me.

"You should be very afraid." He rasped from behind me.

I spun to face him and placed my hands on my hips.

"Well Landy, you ready to be beat?" I smirked.

He raised a perfect blonde brow, his blue eyes assessing as I walked a circle around him, the new heels clicking on the floor.

"Have you seen the team?" I asked. "The smallest one is Matt, and Sid. Let's be honest, they aren't really small guys."

The guys had begun to shift in anticipation.

"And there's me, the only girl, so you should probably go after me first." I smirked. "But if you know what's good for you, then you know I'll kick your ass."

He scoffed and I stood in front of him, raising a brow just like he did.

"In your dreams little girl." Gabe stated.

"I'll let you hold my gold medal." I assured him.

"I'll let you take a picture with mine." Gabe replied. "After I crush your dreams."

I tipped my mouth into a crooked smile, "Is that a challenge Landeskog?" I asked.

He put a hand on either side of the table, trapping me against it as his eyes flashed a deep blue.

"I'll see you on the ice, and if I win that pretty little dress ends up on the floor." He growled.

"I'll see you when I'm holding my flag, and when I win you'll be the one undressing." I stated, pushing him back a step. "Good luck babe."

He glared at me and I raised a brow as he back pedalled and then slammed through the door, the whole table letting out a collective sigh.

"We better win." I growled, deflating as I sat in the chair.

"I have never seen someone look so lethal." Carey whispered.

"Don't piss me off, and don't underestimate me either." I replied calmly. "I will do anything to win, I don't care who I'm playing against. All or nothing."
