The Mission (teen titans fanfic)

Ravens pov

Beep!beep!beep!

"What is that?"

I was woken up by the sound of my communicator ringing

"Who would be calling me at this time of night?"

I answer the call but this person doesn't sound familiar

"I have a mission for you."he said

"And what makes you think i'll do this mission of yours?"

"It is your decision wether to perform the mission or not but I shall tell you now that if you wish to be informed you can join me and some of your other teammates in the common room."

I sat on my bed,surprised,confused, and slightly curious about who else he had called about this so called mission. After about five minutes of sorting through my thoughts I got up and headed to the common room and who I saw was kind of a surprise.

Beastboys pov

I was on my way to the common room cause some weird dude called me on my communicator about some mission and to be honest I was curious about what it was and the people he told about it. I walked in to the common room and found starfire, cyborg, and speedy already there.

I thought to myself "Where are the other titans?"

Just as I thought this raven walked in and she looked slightly confused and surprised but then went back to her emotionless expression. She went to the couch and sat down next to starfire. I had watched raven the whole time. I haven't told anyone this but I love her and I don't know what to do besides bother her. She thinks I do it to annoy her but I do it to get her attention.

After about three minutes of staring I decided to join everyone on the couch. I sat right next to raven. When I got there everyone was already discussing this mission thing.

"Yo, Does anyone know who this random weird guy is?" Asked cyborg

"No" replied everyone

"It just doesn't make sense. Who calls five people in the middle of the night about a mission?"said raven with slight frustration

"Well I am the curious to know what the mission is about." Said starfire

"Me too I just wish he would tell us soon" said speedy who still sounded tired

"Well he told us to meet him in here for a reason so I guess we will just have to wait." I said to everyone

Everyone nodded

Just then a man showed up on the tv, but we were not able to see him because he was covered by the darkness of the shadows.

"Hello titans I see curiosity got the best of you." Said the man

"Yeah whatever now would you mind telling us about this so called mission of yours." Said cyborg slightly angered because he was forced to get up in the middle of the night

"Ahh yes the mission." " I have called for all of you because you are the only ones I can trust to take this mission."

"Why do you trust us? You don't even know us." Said raven confused

"I know all of you even though you may not know me." "This mission is going to be very difficult but I trust you all will be capable of handling it." "I need you all to help me retrieve something that was taken from me."

"What exactly is this thing"? Asked speedy
