Chapter 7: rebuilding our life

It was the morning after and surprisingly things were great. I woke up to the smell of cologne and Hayden's wet hair. He had just gotten out of the shower and only had on a towel. Since I showered the night before he showered this morning.

"Your up early"

"Ya I know I had to shower"

"Well you smell great! And you look great.."

"Thanks babe you know from running around the globe you work up some abs"

His toned body stood before me and all I could do is lay there. No we did not do it right there. I have to keep this PG (lol) so he got dressed and layed down right next to me. And I asked him questions about his life and he asked me about mine. Even though we practically knew each other like the back of our hands , I still wanted to talk.

"So Hayden , when we used to text before we really became friends and I moved in, why didn't you ever really text first ?"

"Em I have loved you for a long time you know that but I was so nervous you wouldn't respond so I tried to distract myself and not give it away I liked you "

"Aw that's sweet but I would have responded babe"

"I know now about you"

"So how long have you actually liked me then if you do started loving me"

"Ok well I started getting a crush on you early eighth grade then I fell in love with you by the end then up until I moved in with you then I am in love with you right now "

"Emily I love you too"

"Me too babe"

We hugged and kissed passionately. He was my love and I felt so safe around him. Hayden was such a passionate kisser he put his mind to something and he got it done.
I always thought that Hayden didn't like me but I turned out I was right. He loved me. He always had. And i did too.

"Babe,babe are you awake"

"Hayden what's up it's like 2 in the morning"

"Em I had a horrible dream"

"Hayden it's ok just tell me if you want"

"Ok I was at my house and you didn't move in yet and the seed never planted and life was normal like music kids weren't treated like trash but like humans and I never fell in love with you , well I did but you didn't. And we never dated and I killed myself in the dream because I remember you and I missed you I couldn't live without you. "

I started crying and just hugged him.

"Ha-Hayden I love you so so so much. I would do the same and let me tell you something. I am never going to leave you I love you so so much "

"I love you too and I am so glad we met and we fell in love you complete me and you are the other half of me"

"I love you "

We both cried and hugged and fell asleep again. But this time we were so close to each other it was like we were one person.

The next morning Hayden was already up and dressed by the time it was 7. 

"Your up early why?"

"Em you need to get dressed right now. We have to leave.  Jason and Alyssa are not specials. There the opposite.  They only survived because the used to do music but now they hate it and they are trying to kill us. We have to go now. "

"Oh my god I'll be ready in two minutes pack our stuff. "

I put on some clothes that were laying on my floor and then we headed out the door with some basic things.  We ran to our car and just started driving.

"Ok em I'm sorry that was sudden but they are on the hunt and they are coming. "

"But I thought you shot Jason and Alyssa "

"I did but they survived"

"Oh then we have to run or we have to kill our selves, listen that's our last resort but there really isn't anything to live for "

"I know babe and if we die we die together but there is another way maybe we can time travel back in time to where everything was ok with music "

"Your right! Maybe we can find or build a machine"

"We need to find one maybe NASA or the CIA has one"

"Your right lets go look"

We headed off to Florida first to look for a machine and NASA surprisingly had one. We tried figuring it out a few times at first but it sparked and jerked around. Then we finally figured it out.
