You can't hold it in forever...

Hospital

*Kat pov*

    I felt myself being shaken up. I opened my eyes a crack to see Toby carrying me somewhere. I looked in front of us. It was a hospital. He was talking me to a hospital. We burst through the doors.

    "HELP! SHE NEEDS HELP!" Toby scared the crap out of a security guard at the front desk.

    "She was attacked and needs medical attention." Toby explained as he gently put me down on one of those rolling hospital beds that a nurse brought.

    "What's wrong with her." A nurse asked Toby. As if on que I coughed up some blood.

    "Oh my! Get her to a room!" One of the nurses yelled out. Toby ran along side the bed as a few nurses pushed me down a long hallway and into a room. Toby picked me up again and placed me on another bed. I smiled up at him.

    "What's wrong with her?" A doctor came walking in. I sat up and lifted up the side of my shirt showing the bandages. He walked over and pulled on them a bit and looked down at my side. His face went pale.

    "How long have you had this...scratch?" He asked after letting go of my bandage. I looked at Toby.

    "A little longer than a week. Why?" Toby told him with a confused look on his face. The doctor beckoned him over and pulled at my bandages so Toby could see my wound. His face turned green and he looked away almost as fast as saw it. I looked down and realized why. It was a sick yellowish color with puss surrounding it. I looked away. The doctor released my bandage gently putting it back in place.

    "What happened to you? Why didn't you come sooner?" The doctor asked me gently. I thought for a second, I couldn't exactly tell him the truth.

    "I was uh attacked by a uh mountain lion." It was a cheep lie and the doctor knew it but he didn't demand the truth. He just nodded and left. Toby pulled up a chair next to my bed and sat down.

    "You have some explaining to do. Slendy would NEVER send me to a hospital. His pride wouldn't allow him to except help from humans." I laid back down and looked at Toby.

    "Well it was Jack's idea, and Slendy was really worried. We took turns watching over you while you were unconscious. When I couldn't stay up any longer he took over and let me sleep and vice-versa." Slenderman was...worried? About me? Why? My eyelids started to droop.

    "Go to sleep." He smiled as I closed my eyes.

    "Don't steal Jeff's thing." I chuckled as I drifted off to sleep.

*Slenderman pov*

    I watched Toby run into the hospital with Kathleen. I teleported back into the  woods. The night us still young and I could get in a few good kills before I need to go back home.

************Some time later***********

    [JEFF!] I yelled when I got back home, the sun was just starting to peek over the horizon. Jeff walked down the stairs and walked over to me.

    "Whatever you think I did it wasn't me. I swear!" Jeff defended himself.

    [Not that. I need you to watch over Kathleen for an hour out so, she's at the hospital. Everyone will need to take shifts.] I grabbed him by the hood and teleported to an alleyway not to far away from the hospital and put him down.

    [Tell Toby to get over here fast, I don't want to wait to long.] Jeff nodded and ran off.

*Jeff pov*

    I put my head down and pulled my hood up as I went inside. Don't want to be recognized. I walked up to what appeared to be a front desk.

    "I'm looking for Kathleen." I told the lady.

    "Kathleen who?" She asked back. Shit! No one really knew her last name. I was about to leave when someone called my name from behind me.

    "Hey! Jeff! Over here!" Toby was waveing at me from a hallway. I ran over to him. He led me farther down the hallway and into a room. Kathleen was laying in a bed with a board expression on her face. She looked over at us when she heard the door open.

    "Jeff!" Her face lit up. "Are you the next shift?" She sat up.

    "Yep oh and Slendy wants you in the alleyway across the street in about a minute! Go!" Toby ran out of the room and down the hall.

    "So why are you even in here? I thought Jack had it all under control." I asked her as I leaned against the wall across from her.

    "It got worse, allot worse." She replied, gently putting her hands on her side. I walked over.

    "It can't be that bad." She arched an eyebrow and pulled the bandages down a bit so I could see her injury. JESUS CHRIST! It looked horrible! Even for my standards!

    "God what happened? You get raped in the side by a bear?" She laughed but her laugh was cut short by a fit of coughing. She pulled out a bloody handkerchief just in time to cough up blood into it. She laid back down.

    "I'm serious what happened? All I know is that Slendy brought you back from somewhere all covered in blood and dieing." She narrowed her eyes.

    "I don't know if I should tell you." She started saying slowly.

    "Aww c'mon don't be that way. Tell me." I whined. She sighed.

    "Fine." When she told the story she was obviously leaving out some major parts but I didn't press. When she finished a male nurse came in with a tray of food and set it down in front of Kat.

    "Eat up." He left. Kat poked the food with one of the plastic forks the nurse gave her. It looked like oat meal with a piece of bread and a glass of orange dye. She sighed.

    "What you don't like mush with your orange dye?" I asked. She smiled and took a spoon full of 'oatmeal'. She gagged a bit as she swallowed.

    "Can you just rob a donut store or somthing?" She whined. I rolled my eyes.

    "I don't know, Slendy won't be too happy if he knows that I left." She put her head down.

    "ok it just that I thought you could get in a few kills while out. But I guess I'll just eat my slop." She slowly put another spoon full in her mouth, visibly shuddering as she swallowed.

    "Fine! But not a word to Slendy, ok?" She sat up and smiled instantly.

    "Hurry back." She said as I left the room.

    "Ya ya, just don't go anywhere." I ran down the hallway and out into the street.

*Kat pov*

    Jeff was only gone for a few minutes before climbing in through a window. His jacket was covered with blood but, he had a bag of McDonald's. He tossed me the bag.

    "Thanks.  You might want to take that off." I opened the bag to see two boxes of cinnamon melts. He took off his jacket, revealing pale, strong arms. I looked away as fast as I could. I didn't want to be caught fan-girling in front of Jeff. I quickly ate my newly acquired breakfast, scraping the old one into a nearby trash can. Jeff and I talked for awhile before a female nurse came in to check on me.

    "I'm here to see if your-", she noticed Jeff, "Who's this?" She totally ignored me and walked over to Jeff. I could barely contain my laughter.

    "That's Jeff he's-" "I'm her boyfriend." He cut me off as he got up and walked over to me. The nurse looked furious. Before I could say anything or even respond, Jeff leaned over and kissed me on the lips.

    Whaaaaaaaaaaa! Not even I saw that coming! It just happened! Promise! Plot twisted. XD but in all seriousness there will not be a JeffXKat thing. Jeff will stay in the friend zone.
