Will you adopt me?

Authors note: This is a new story that I have thought about a lot because I daydream it sometimes. Unless I say anything else it is from my POV. In this story I am about 9 years old, obviously that is not true in real life I just thought it would be cuter if I was younger. So here you go!

My best friend's mom agreed to pick me up from school today in her golf cart. I love golf carts! They are so much fun! I wish we had not gotten rid of ours. Once I got home I thanked her for the ride and unlocked the door. I walked in yelling "I'm home!" when I saw them. Both of them, my parents laying on the ground with a bullet in their heads. I screamed and started to cry. Then I call a number that my mother had given me to memorize I something had ever gone wrong. It rang several times then a lady picked up.

Z: "Agent David."

A: "Hey I was told to call you if something had happened to my parents. Well it did! They are both dead!" I broke down and cried some more.

Z: "Ok sweetheart just calm down. Will you please give me your address and I will come. Is that ok with you?"

A: "Yes ma'am."

I gave her my address and she told me that she would be there in a few minutes. She seemed like a nice lady. A few minutes later they arrived just like she said.

Z: "Hi my name is Ziva David. We talked on the phone."

A: "Hi Ziva."

Z: "Sweetheart? You look terrible. Are your sure you are ok?"

I shook my head no and broke down and started to cry. She held me and tried to calm me down.

Z: "Shhhh.... Sweetheart! It is ok."

I was balling and could not stop. I know Ziva tried her best to calm me down, but eventually I felt her pick me up and carry me to the car. I was put into her lap like a little baby.

Z: "Hey sweetheart, what is your name?"

A: "My name is Amanda." I managed to choke out.

Z: "Well Amanda you need to get some sleep it has been a rough day."

A: "But what if something happenes to me???"

Z: "Trust me baby, nothing will happen to you. I will stay with you the whole time."

After she kissed my forehead I fell asleep.

Ziva's POV

I got a call from a little girl who is absolutely terrified about something. She said something about her parents being dead. While I'm on the phone with her Tony is giving me a weird look.

Z: "I just got a call from a little girl who said her parents are dead."

G: "Gear up!"

We all grabbed our gear and headed for the elevator.

G: "Tony and Ziva take the charger. Me and McGee will gas up the truck. I will do your job Ziva. That little girl is going to really need your comfort."

Z: "Ok Gibbs I will do that."

Me and Tony started to drive to her house.

T: "Hey what is wrong Zee-vah?"

Z: "Tony I know what she is going through you know? I mean both of my parents are dead. But I had you to help get me through it. Who does she have??"

Tony puts a hand on my leg and I grab it and hold it.

T: "Hey it will be ok! She has you now."

I nodded my head and stayed silent the rest of the trip. When we got there she was on the ground crying. I ran over to her and tried to calm her down. After a while she looked like she was about to fall asleep, so I picked her up and carried her to the car. Once she really fell asleep Tony came up to me.

T: "I forgot how good you are with kids."

Z: "Tony she is sleeping it is not that hard to take care of her."

T: "I know but have you ever thought about becoming a mother?"

Z: "Yes and I will when I find the right guy. I may already have found him."

T: "Oh really. Do I know him?"

Z: "Yes you know him very well."

G: "Dinozzo David take the girl back to HQ. Me as McGee will finish up here."

T&Z:"Ok boss."

T: "It better not be McGoo!"

Z: "No I think Abby has him taken."

T: "Well then who is it?"

Z: "I will tell you later, my little hairy butt."

Once we got there I tried to carry Amanda again but I couldn't so Tony took her from me. Once we got into the elevator I stopped it, and Tony placed Amanda on the ground.

T: "Ok who is it Zee-vah?"

Z: "I would be breaking a rule if I told you."

T: "Rule 12?"

I stared at him for a few seconds then he cupped my face into his hands as we inched closer to each other. The he finally leaned down and kissed me full on the lips. His kiss and touch were so soft, I practically melted into him. God, I love this man! This better we his way of saying yes and not just becoming another one of his one night stands.

T: "Zi?"

Z: "Yes Tony?"

T: "I love you!"

Z: "Oh my god Tony I love you too! I need you so bad but I have to wait."

T: "Yeah cause we kinda can't have sex in front of Amanda."

Z: "Obviously but can you stay with me tonight?"

T: "Of course! Why would I not want to stay with the most beautiful women in the world who is my girlfriend?"

Z: "Awww Tony! You really mean that?"

T: "Of course I do."

He lifted my face toward his and I knew what he was going to do. We both slowly leaned in and our lips met. The kiss it was amazing it was so soft so sweet so gentle. I did not want it to end but sadly we both ran out of air and had to pull back. I laid Amanda down in my chair and covered her with a blanket. I went over to Tony and sat on his lap.

T: "Zi, I seriously am in love with you ever since Jeanne I realized I am ready for commitment if I really love the woman. I love you more then you could ever know. Yes I was very jealous when you had other boyfriends and when other when someone would touch you in the ways that I used to only dream about."

He got a sad look on his face and started to tear up a little. I kissed his tears away and then I kissed him directly on the lips.

Z: "Well I was jealous of all of your girlfriends too. When Ray proposed to me all I could think about was you and how much I loved and wanted you."

His face lit up and I was so happy when he gave me his famous 100 watt smile.

Z: "Come on let's get to work. Do you have any crime scene photos? I did not get to go inside at all."

T: "Yeah here they are."

He pulled the photos up. I could not believe what I saw.
