Chapter 6

Lexi's POV ~one week later~

Today is the day we go to the doctors to be sure about Diane's cancer and I'm nervous as hell. But how can't i?

"You ready?" I ask Diane, bitting my lip

She slowly nods. Diane, Madalyn and I leave the flat and jump in my dark blue road runner (car). I turn the radio on to break the silence, wings by little mix blared threw my speakers.

Stupid stop lights I think as we approach one.

"Hey, how are you pretty ladies doing?" we turned our heads to a car full of good looking guys- but not as good looking as Louis. Now that is some auger for your eyes.

Diane's eyes flicker at a certain boy "Ethan?" He eyes widen

Ethan. She told me about an Ethan before.. Oh yea. Ethan was her high school boyfriend. They were super close and she lost her virginity to him. OMG my mind blows.

"Diane?" He's face goes pale

"Ye-yea.." She says

"You wanna get a coffee with us?" The boy in the drivers seat said

"We can't were heading to the hospital for.." Madalyn trails off

"For what?" Ethan asks

"I might have cancer" Diane blurts out "now drive. Now!" She yells

"I-I" I push on the gas pedal as hard as I could, getting a lot of speed

"You got guts girl" Madalyn laughs

"Why it's not a big deal. Dees the one with guts, but did you say Ethan's face when you said it? It looked like the love of his life just died" I sigh

"We broke up. He doesn't give a fucking shit about it" Diane shrugs

"Whatever you say.." I roll my eyes

"What's that supposed to mean?" Diane asks

"That your slow" I grin "and that Ethan still loves you" I say in a 'duh' tone

"I wish" she whispers

"You still love him don't you?" Madalyn says softly

"Of course I do. He was my first real love. I loved him to death"

"Then go after him love" I say in my British accent

"You see him? He probably has a girlfriend with those looks!"

"You mean chicken legs?" Madalyn starts to laugh to ass off

"Don't you dare bring up public school Madalyn!" Diane slaps her arm

Cameron's POV

I realized that I need to back off Lexi and Matt. He makes her happy and that's all that matters right?

I'll always have feelings for her but her happiness means a lot more to me then hurting her to be with her. It won't be worth it if she's unhappy.

"Matt..?" I sigh looking over at him, who was sitting on the other couch

"Yea?" He asks

"I- I'm sorry"

"For what?"

"About my thing for Lexi"

"Oh.." He pauses looking for words "well it's not really your fault that you have feelings for her, she's amazing. But the fact that you tried to take her away" he says

"Man I'm sorry"

"I forgive you but there's one thing"

"What?" I ask uneasy

"You have to apologize to Lexi"
