A special costume party, where everyone dresses up as particular Marvel and DC superheroes.
Hosted in the throne room, with refreshments. Food, drinks and such.
There are also decorations of Marvel and DC stuff all around the room!
Aphrodite even dressed up Bessie (or, if you want to be formal, the Ophiotaurus) the cow-serpent into a costume of Ace, Batman's crime-fighting dog!
And speaking of Batman. Both Hermes and Hades dressed up as him! They've planned this, because they're on good terms (Hermes leads newly-deceased souls to the entrance of the Underworld, to Charon, and Hades is the Lord of the Underworld). Apollo and Athena are Superman and Wonder Woman respectively. So Hermes, Apollo and Athena are the superhero trio. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
Aphrodite is Supergirl (in a desperate attempt to snag the eye of Apollo. Apollo doesn't notice anything, but Athena does, and she's jealous as hell. Also, Aphrodite doesn't realise that Superman and Supergirl are cousins). Her backup costume is one of Black Canary, because charmspeak.
Zeus is complaining for the whole night of the party, as he's stuck being Thor from Marvel (he's really mad at Apollo for stealing Superman). He's threatening Apollo to make him mortal if he doesn't choose another hero so he can be Superman, but Apollo is saying no.
Also, Zeus is all like "who is this Thor person? I want to meet him. And duel him. We can compete on who's the better lightning god."
Persephone is there, and even though her invite said superheroes, she comes in as Catwoman, because her dear husband Hades is Batman.
Don't get any ideas, Hermes.
