Even with the awful first impression i got with the Princess I got the chance to live in the castle, Invited to do so by the princess herself (Take that Dover!)

Living there could have pros and cons of course, but it was a beautiful place to live, I got the chance to meet the council, and spend some quality time with my brother as well.

The Cystal Castle...  It was not as big s it was tall, all the chambers had a great high roof with an ice chandelier that lighted with sun beam. all of the chambers were the simple, a bed, side table, a huge mirror in some of them (for the femalecounsil) Mostly private but some where open almost all the time, they are all the same, (even mine) so after seeing one you have seen it all, so I keep walking, exploring, and found another one in the top floor of the castle, the huge entrance door was slightly open so I.. looked inside... well I went in... In the most of it was like any other one of the chambers, just a little bigger and had a terrace...

-Oh! Hi there little one! She said in a joyful and ashamed way... she wasn't alone...

I shouldn't be here... And got out as fast as I could.

It would be obvious the princess had a boyfriend, partner, whatever! I didn't like it. I was a little jealous, that wouldn't matter I keep exploring and found something... odd.. a polar bear, at the end of the hall. I didn't knew him and could easily eat a little fox like me in a blink of an eye, so I walked away.

-Don't be scared. He said -I'm just waiting for him to finish...

-Finish?

-... You know... finish... He dumbly said again.

I was lightly upset... no, I was upset

-I'm William, Sir William... his companion

-Who?

He pointed at the now closed door of the Princess' chambers.

-I see.. well I should leave. And so I did.

The thought made me mad, so I left for the day, going to the gardens and take a nap to forget about the 'boyfriend' shit, but Dover was there too.

-Shouldn't you be watching over the princess?!  I asked upset

-I should but I can't protect her from her own choices, also... she dismiss me every time he comes over. He was also upset

-I hate him!

-I hate him!

We said at uni sound, and laughted of it.

-Should we bite him? I suggested

-I'd love to, but my Lady would get really upset with me if I do so.

I just sat there thinking still mad about it, and said nothing for a while.

-Don't think about it. He said   -It doesn't happened that often, you had bad luck to know the human part of her before everything else... Tell you what, you will come with me in duty for some time, so you can know her better. Sounds good?

-Sounds great, thanks Dover. I said a little calm and sighted

-So... had eaten yet? He asked and lead me to the village, dinner out!

I was able to be a sub-bodyguard and accompany them for weeks, in that time I got to know the princess better... She was spoiled of course, every princess is, I already knew that, But she was... weird, in a good way tho. I saw her dance with no reason, have seen her foolishly fall while doing so and laugh of herself just to get up and keep going smiling warm as the sun itself. She was also a smart girl, really smart, liked to read a lot of stuff of so many different theme she found. She was also a good listener, for problems and joy, no matter what she would listen and offer help if she could. All of this made her be loved by her court and subjects.

And me...

Time passed by, and even when I got used to live in the castle, my living there was about to end... It all started with something weird, or I might say, someone weird...

It was a common day, Dover had left me accompany the Princess while he took care of some unusual happenings, (Not without the proper "If anything goes wrong" warning, that flatailed smartass!) So.. Duties:

First was throne room gathering, where subjects and court would tell her about worries, troubles and all kind of updates about the kingdom, mean while I would just sit there, it was quite boring and easy. Then we left to some walking, She was going to met a council to discuss something about... I don't know... But since it was something casual they decided to do so in the main square of the Winterhold Village, she liked to be out of the castle as often as she could, so she used any excuse to do so.

While walking through the winterhold streets, and between the love words towards the princess by a couple of deers I felt something out of place, but couldn't find it yet, It could be trouble tho, so I got my attention on looking for something different, but there wasn't, not there, we got closer to the main square and the feeling was stronger than before, could be just my imagination, but then I saw it, her, between people and deers was a shadowy figure, a young woman dressed in dark colored clothes (something quite odd for a kingdom dressed in snow)

She was obviously an outsider, and yet she moved around like she owned the world.

Showing no interest to the princess at all, and my curiosity went on, still walking next to the princess and Council but never losing sight of the dark point. It was until they were sitting and talking about who knows what that I left them, just for a moment, I wanted to get closer and find out something about her. I followed her for a few minutes hoping she wouldn't notice me doing so, and suddenly, she stopped looking or something in a shop, It was my chance! Getting a little closer to her, just enough to sniff her to know something about her, it was a unusual smell for a girl, oak smell? But she noticed me, I was dumb, got too close.

When she looked at me her eyes were more surprised than insulted, but said nothing, just kept looking at me like waiting for me to say something but I couldn't, and couldn't run either I just stood there, then her surprise changed for amusement and a smirk filled her lips, she kneeled and pet me all for a moment, I lost my duty... It felt so nice, warm, calm happiness. I knew that feeling, from where?

-You should head back.  She said in a whisper

I looked at her who just smiled and left me get back to the Princess... maybe they didn't notice my dumb doings.

-Who is your friend? And why those dark clothes? That's strange...

They noticed, and wasn't really that hard, since the strange young woman was waving away to me, still smirking.

I was about to say something when I look at the princess, looking at the stranger, but... in a curious way, like she wanted... no... needed to met her, know her... Had she felt the same weird feeling I did? I looked back to where the young woman was, but she was gone.

I didn't saw her again that day, but I was pretty sure it wouldn't be the last time.
