Art 76: How I draw chibi

Here I'll show you how I draw chibi characters, it's kinda in a tutorial format but I'm not very good at tutorials 😅

So I like to use a Spectrum Pro 4H pencil for my sketches.

I start off with a kind of oval shape for the head and add in guidelines to help place the facial features.

Next I draw two tiny little lines for the neck and an oval for the torso.

Next I add in guidelines for shoulders, arms and legs.

Then I start putting the body together, for chibi characters though, no matter if they're male or female, I don't give them curves I just make them round-ish and kinda chubby. (Sorry about the eraser lines there, I wasn't using the best kind of paper).

Then I shape the head and add facial features.

Next I add some hair.

Then I added some ears and a tail for fun 😄.

Then I put some clothes on that naked body.

Second last step is the inking.  And I screwed up on the inking of her cheek 😭

And last I colour my chibi character!
