prologue
"Oh well, if it isn't my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend, Victoria Higgins." The devil's queen has arrived. As expected. "Throwing a little farewell party, hahaha, pathetic little dolly, you are?" And there I saw, James on the front door. Walking closer to Alyssa's scene. "Oh look! My boyfriend which was yours before has finally arrived! Gimme a kiss, baby!" James kissed Alyssa's lips right in front of me and Alyssa's alibis threw their drinks at me. "Hey watch it!" Anne said while I try to stop her from murdering the devil's masterpiece in my house. "Your bisexual best friend, right? Hi! Don't have a crush on me, please. I already have a boyfriend already, so, hmm, yeah." Her alibis then laughed at the mere joke she made. "Oh yeah, your former best friend's ex-boyfriend, right? Oh yeah, I remember you, you motherfucking bitch." Anne said and she pulled me out of the scene. "What the fuck is wrong with you, Vic?" She said and shook my body. "Anne, it's been 8 months. And when I saw him enter that door, as if all water from me wants to burst out into tears." I sobbed and lean on her shoulder. "Here's a napkin, Vic. Sorry I wasn't there to punch her." Rowena said, she's James' step-sister. Practically, James' mom married Rowena's dad. "Hey you guys!" Francine called to us. She's my childhood best friend, we're practically sisters. "You know what you need, Vi? You need to get out of this shitty place and go somewhere else!" Anne and Rowena looked at Francine while she took a sip of the beer. "That's genius! But where would Vic go?" Hmm, a vacation. Let's see, I've always wanted to go to the ---- "She's going to the Philippines!" Philippines. Just what I had in mind. Hospitable people and my relatives are there. "I was thinking more of you know-- Paris, but Philippines is great! Book a flight already!" Francine said while handing me my phone. "You know what? Philippines, here I come!"
