I must have fallin asleep on the way home because I woke up to Ash carrying me to my room. She said my name quietly and helped me get onto the bed. I layed down and was out like a light.
I was running, running, something hit my head and I screamed. I woke up to Ashlyn saying "It was just a dream, It was just a dream, It's ok Ali" I let out a sigh of relief and looked up at Ash. "Ash will you stay with me until I fall asleep?" "Sure Alex." She slipped underneath the sheets, put her arm around me, stroked my hair and pulled me close until I fell asleep.
"Alex, Alex wake up." Ash was shaking me awake. "Come on Alex we need to go." "We need to go where?" I responded groggily. 'We need to go back to the hospital." I was confused. What was going on? She picked me up carried me out the door and put me in her jeep. "Ashlyn what is going on?" "The doctor called back and said they needed you back immediately." "Wait why? Ashlyn please tell me what in the freaking world is wrong!" "You are having blood clots in your lungs Alex." "Just like before." She was talking about when I messed up my knee and was having blood clots in my legs and lungs. "How Ashlyn?" "I don't know Alex, all I know is that its my responsibility to take care of you." We arrived at the parking lot of the hospital and she walked me to the door.
