How everything changed... (Nalu) Lucy's POV

The next day

I wake up, feeling up and ready for the day. As I open my bedroom curtains I smile, it's a beautiful sunny day! I go and have a nice cool shower to make me feel refreshed and go and make some breakfast. As soon as I'm finishing up, I realise it's about time for me to get dressed and go. As I put my shoes on, I remember that necklace. I put it on, grabbing my bag and keys while I hurry out the door.

Walking along the side of the river is a treat when the weather is nice. I feel the warmth of the sun reflecting down onto my skin. As I walk through the guild doors everyone starts coming up to me and saying hello. As I'm greeting Levy and Cana with a hug, I spot Natsu sitting there staring at me in the corner of my eye.  I try to ignore him, but he keeps staring at me! As I finished greeting everyone, I go up to him. "NATSU SNAP OUT OF IT!" I shout, as he still stares at me. I'm not wearing anything too revealing so what is it?! I trace his stare to realise he's staring straight at the necklace. Oh! Of course! The necklace! He suddenly stops staring and looks into my eyes.

"Oh, hey Lucy!" He says

Before I know it, he wrapped his arms around me and gives me a hug.

"N..a..tsu, what's the matter?" I stammer, as he keeps holding me close.

A grin lights up on his face.

"I'm glad you found it then!" He says.

Wait... was he? Really? It couldn't possibly be... NATSU? Bought me a NECKLACE?!

"The person who gave you that necklace that you're wearing... Do you know who it is?" Natsu says.

"Umm.... no, I'm still guessing..." I trail off, unable to finish my sentence, as he kisses me on the cheek.

"Natsu... was it... really you?!"

"Yeah! Of course it was!" He says in his cheeky Natsu voice.

"But why?!" I whisper.

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU LUCY!" He shouts unexpectedly. The whole guild starts to cheer.

Before I can even open my mouth to say something, he kisses me again. I push him away.

"Lucy, don't you love me?!" He says in a anxious tone of voice.

"OF COURSE I DO!" I yell at the top of my voice.

I'm so happy. He's been on my mind for ever so long and now he suddenly tells me!

He picks me up, "Come on Lucy, let's go on an adventure!" And carries me to the job board. He chooses one while still carrying me, one that would take a few days to complete that didn't involve much fighting. And he carries me back home.

"Go and pack your stuff, this ones gonna take some time." He says.

"Why one that's gonna take long?!" I ask.

"Because I want to spend some time with you" he says, blushing.

As I throw my bag over my shoulder, he grabs my hand and we run out of the door.

Another adventure awaits... who knows what it will bring?!
