Phil wipes his forehead beaded in sweat, as he forms a faint smile when the music comes on to tell him Dan is about to walk in.
He waited anxiously, looking around him as he looks over to his mother who is crying happily as Martyn comforts her.
Today is the day, Phil.
Dan walks inside the large hall, grinning at Phil's cheeky smile, and he walks up slowly with Dans father by his side.
"Thank you dad" Dan smiles as his father sits back down, and Dan stands next to Phil, but Dan couldn't stand the pain he has left in his heart,
He had a secret.
They had finally finished their "I do's" when the vicar announced they shall now kiss.
The kiss was quick, but full of love and desperation, as Dan's eyes start to become glossy and full of guilt.
"Phil.." everyone turns to look at Dan.
"I think it's time." Dan bursts in to tears.
"Dan?"
"I have cancer."
