"More?" we think as footsteps stomp around the building, "but all known Kulaaniwa and Ukoo are here, so how could that be? Surely humans wouldn't fight for us," we all agree. Then, we realize the truth, they are reinforcements, reinforcements for the humans. Thousands of uniformed men march in, their are enough humans that each Kulaaniwa has three guns pointed at them. Each Ukoo leader raises a sword, as if ready to fight, but for once, Jake's sword stays sheathed.
"Put down your weapons," Jake announces "We are outnumbered, there is no way to win this battle." An array of boos echos across the crowd. "They have at least three times the amount of people we have, if we fight back, we will surely all die." Slowly but surely, each Kulaaniwa unarms his/her weapon, whether it is sticking a sword in the ground, emptying and dropping a gun, or throwing down bows, and quivers full of arrows, we all relinquish our weapons, and with that our freedom.
Three days, we have all been held captive for three days. The humans were kind enough to let each Ukoo stay together, and they let the wanderers be with each other as well. After all the happened, we still keep hope, we keep hoping that one day we'll be let out or we'll escape. We keep hoping that maybe humans will finally except us. We keep hoping that each other's company will help us regain sanity. That hope, is what keeps us persevering, believing in ourselves, and each other.
