Dinner with the Edwards

I was playing the guitar on my bed when suddenly my phone rang.

*In Coming Call : Jamie Louise*

Me: "Hello?"

Jamie: "I can't believe it! It's the last day of Summer tomorrow?! Seriously?"

Me: "Sad to say yes. I really don't want summer to end. Especially with all the hangouts that we did!"

Jamie: "Oh wait, let's join Rose on this call"

Rose: "Hey Girls."

Me and Jamie: "Heyy"

Rose: "I don't summer to end!"

Me: "Me too. but we can't control time you know."

Rose: "Urgh! So, we should hang out tomorrow!"

Jamie: "Let's go to the beach!"

Me: "YES! Can James go with us?"

Jamie: "Of course! Rose tell Zac to come!"

*beeps of a car*

Me: "Okay. I need to go now. James here. His family is having dinner with us."

Jamie: "Okay bye! see you tomorrow"

*i hang up*

Oh gosh, I can't believe i forgot it! The Dinner with the Edwards! Oh, what is happening to you Cam.

I looked at my closet for the best dress that I can wear and yes, I found the perfect one. It is an orange dress that has a black belt on it and the length was above the knee. It was a gift from James.

*Flashback*

It was my 17th birthday last year and James texted.

Do u have any plans today? Happy Birthday beautiful. I love you. -JamesXx

Just a dinner with family. :) Thanks. love you 2. -CammieXx

Ok. I'll pick you up at 12! -JamesXx

It was already 11! I immediately took a shower and I tried to find the right clothes to wear but i can't :( Then suddenly my mom knocked at my door.

Mom: Cammie! Wake up!

Then i ran into the door to open it. Mom, Dad, Candice and little Chynna was there! Mom was holding a vanilla cake and they all yelled "Surprise!" then they all hugged me. After that, I told them to go because I am preparing. Then Candice gave me a blue box. "James gave this earlier to me. He said that you must wear it. Happy Birthday Sissy!" she said happily. I thanked him and I sat down at my bed and looked at the box. It has a card and a rose at the top of it.

On The Card: Happy Birthday Cammers, See you later! -JamersXx

I opened the box and it has a dress on it. The color is cream and it perfectly fits on me.

*End of Flashback*

I ran to my bathroom to apply some make-up and lipgloss. I heard my mom downstairs. "Cameron! The Edwards are here! Go down now!" , my mom said. I wore some accessories and a wedge. Then I went down.

When i went down, I can hear them talking and laughing and I saw James at the terrace so I approached him.

Me: "hey Jamers."

Him: "Hey. Cammers. looking good" then he smiled at me and hugged me.

Me: "isolating yourself?"

Him: "yaah. I don't want to join with their "ADULT TALKS""

Me: "oh. right."

Then my mother called us and we went to the dining room.

Well, the dinner was fun. We/They were talking about how delicious was the food, what's my plan for college, and so on. Then James asked me to go with him at the terrace so I went with him carrying Chynna.

Me: "uhhm. So.. I talked to Jamie and Rose."

James: "and?"

Me:"We will go to the beach tomorrow. do you wanna come with us?"

James: "Ofcourse! I don't want ot spend the last day of my summer in the house!"

Me: "Haha. okay."

Then it was time for them to go. His mother Victoria (but we call her Tori) hugged me and thanked me for the time and the dinner. After that James kissed me on the cheek and said, "See you tomorrow love." and he smiled at me :"> I can't control the blood that was rushing through my cheeks.

After that, I went to my room. I washed my face and I changed into my pjs. I lay down on my bed thinking of him and I fell asleep.
