With mud making a wet, squishy noise below his feet, Crona was running in the field which him and Marie stumbled on.

"I'm thankful to get out of that horrible forest. The trees reminded me too much of Mother's vector arrows." Crona said.

Crona thought about his decision alot through out his journey. He was excited to show his worth to his friends. He could finally prove that he is trustworthy. As he ran he looked down to his chest. He wanted to look at the necklace one more time.

The necklace was in the shape of Lord Death's mask. Crona could feel the positive energy coming from it, which was actually the soothing of the Soul Wavelength. Crona felt a sense of courage. Like he could do anything. Like he could face the Kishin. But he knew he could'nt. The only villain he had his mind on was his mother. Ragnarok burst from his back.

"Eh?! Where's Marie?!" He shouted.

=====================================================

3 Hours Ago...

Crona looked down at the twig his was playing with on the ground.

He was making drawings in the mud. He became bored of waiting for Miss Marie to make a move. She waited on Maka too much.

"Miss Marie, don't you think Maka should have arrived by now?" Crona groaned.

"Be patient. It's not like she wont be here until we hit fifty." She said.

Crona threw his twig in the mud, messing up his drawing of a smiley face.

"Well. You wait right here then, while I go kill my mother." He said with a shadow over his face.

He ran off, panting his doubts away.

"Crona! Crona, please come back!" Marie shouted.

Crona did not feel like listening to her. He had more to worry about than listening to his former teacher yelling at him.

====================================================

Crona rested to take a breathe.

He pulled out his bag. He pulled a water bottle and some grapes out. As he ate, he took sometime to remember a couple of stuff. Like his childhood. How he was tormented.

How his mother slammed him in a room, just because he wouldnt kill the miniature dragon. (A rabbit in the manga.)

How his mother pushed him to the limit, attempting to make him as a Kishin.

How his mother experimented with his original blood, with Black Blood, eventually creating the spawn that bursts from his back.

He began to fall asleep.

====================================================

"Hey mommy! Can we play today?" The young Crona said.

Medusa looked over at her son.

"I have more important things to do. Like making you into a Kishin." She said.

"What's a Kishin? Sounds like a pretty butterfly! I want to be a Kishin!" He said.

Medusa made her usual snake like face.

"That's what mommy wants to hear." She said.

Crona ran over to hug his mother. She nelt to her knees to hug him.

"I love you mommy!" Young Crona said, with a bright joyful look on his face.

"I love you too, dear!" She said, with the most evil look on her face.

A scream escaped from Crona's throaght. He felt a needle go through his back.

He jerked away from his mother.

"Mommy! Why did you do that?!" He screamed, with tears coming from his eyes.

"Your sick. Sick kids need shots." Medusa said grinning.

"Why did you inject me with that black suff?" He said.

"This is how people become Kishins. Dont you want to be one?" She asked.

"No! Not anymore! I tried to give you a hug, and then you give me a shot with black stuff in it. No way!" He said.

Medusa frowned.

"That's not what I wanted to hear." She said.

Crona felt pain in his back. He began to scream.

"Mommy! Mommy, my back hurts! It hurts mommy, make it stop! Please, mommy!" Crona cried. He bean to feel what was now Ragnarok coming out of his back.

The black blood spawn looked down at Crona. He opened his mouth.

"You look tasty!" He shouted. He began to open his mouth. He ate him hole.

"Mommy! What is this thing, it's eating me mommy, make him go away!" He screamed.

"This is what happens to people when they dont want to be Kishins." Medusa said.

Everything in Crona's sight became black.

==================================

Crona woke up. His grapes and water were gone. The feild he was laying in was a forest, different from the one before. The trees hung with vector arrows. He heard snake's hissing. A black shadow came before him.

"Go away! Your scaring me I dont know how to deal with you!" Crona said.

The black shadow bowed down to Crona. A smile spread across it's face.

"Glad to see you." It said.

Crona screamed, telling it to get away. He thought it must of been the Kishin's Madness working through him.

He began to notice the trees and the hissing faded. Except the shadow.

The figure became clear to him now. He sooned realized the person standing infront of him,

was Maka.

"M-Maka?" Crona said.

"Crona, I'm glad to see you." Maka lunged to Crona hugging him. "I was worried about you."

He noticed Marie and Soul standing behind him. Marie smiled.

"Just couldn't wait, could you?' Marie said.

"We got your little distress signal. Tell Ragnarok I said thanks for busting my ear drum." Soul Smirked.

Crona got up. He realized the forest and the hissing was all an illusion.

"So, are you ready? Marie said you made up your mind." Maka said.

Crona smiled. The positive energy came back to him.

"Y-Yeah. Of course I am!"
