I walked outside of the school my guitar in my hand. I saw a girl leaning against the wall out -side she looked like she was waiting for someone.  As I got closer I got a better look at her. Oh crap! She had been waiting for me and she looked mad.

"Where have you been?" She demanded tapping her foot in an impatient fashion. She was trying her best not to be angry she even went as far as to have her arms crossed.

"I wa-" I started to say

"Don't answer that, I know where you were. You were at guitar club weren't you?" I shook my head afraid to speak. By nodding her head in my direction she gave me permission to explain.

"I'm sorry I was practicing guitar. I signed up for the talent show and I need more time to practice." She gave me a look disapproval lingering in her eyes.

"You promised you would help me with soccer. You know tryouts are coming up soon and I need help." I looked down at the floor. She was right... I did promise... I never considered her feelings...

She picked up on my feelings. "I know it's important to you I'll tell you what" I raised my head and looked at her. "As soon as the talent show is over you’re mine!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me close to her trapping me in her embrace.

I felt my face go a tiny bit red. "We will practice twice as much and twice as hard! Got it!" She said pumped throwing her fist in the air enthusiastically. "until then practice as much as you can do the best you can! I'll be cheering for you!"

"I promise!" I took her hand and shook it, binding my promise to help her more, I will not break it again.
