I got bored and decided to add something new to this. So, if the next chapter screws this up. Eh, on well. What's a fanfiction without incorrectness? Also, I just randomly made up the song thing.
------------------------------
You stand up, making sure the pillow case is tightly pressed against your arm, you walk out of the room. As you begin to set up the fallen part of the fort, you hear soft singing in the distance. It sounds gentle, and very beautiful.

You follow the voice to the basement steps. It's echoing make you feel peaceful, almost luring in a way. It gives you a great urge to follow it down the steps. So, you take one step, and then another, another... another.

You can't quite understand the words, but the beautiful sound pulls you gently further. You reach the bottom on the step, your body goes numb. Can't feel anything, almost like your walking on air. Closer, and closer... and closer... you make your way down the halls, and through the rooms. The words can finally be heard.

"Flowers blooming in the snow. How they got there, I don't know. Birdies singing in the trees, and talking to the honeybees. Newborn lambs are born in spring, but this lamb is a special thing. She wasn't born in may time flower, she was born in an evening shower."

You find yourself in front of a door, it's closed, but not locked. You manage to gain control of your thoughts once again, shaking your head slowly. Staring at the door, you grab the knob. Turning it slowly. The voice goes silent. "Hello?" You whisper poking your head in. Whoever was singing speaks.

"You shouldn't be here child... for only God knows what'll happen to you."

There's movement, then silence. Almost as if time had stood still for just a brief period. Opening the door completely, you find the room empty. Only 3 black feathers lay on the ground. You pick one up, it's covered in ink.

It shimmers in the light, dripping wet from the pitched black ink. Yet, still looks perfect. The ink gets on your hands, turning them black as well. "What just happened?..." You think to yourself, staring at the wall.
