Part 2

I stealthily climb a nearby cliff using my wings to help me when I needed to. When I get to the top of the cliff I have a clear shot at everything. I fire as many foes as I can but there's so many of them. Suddenly arrows start falling from the sky. The Rito are here, that will help a lot. Sapphire lands behind me. "(Y/n) your injured!" She says in shock. I respond by letting out low growls. She just looks confused. So I use my tail to write out in the dirt 'I can't shift if I'm injured, I might have to be like this for a while'. After a few exhausting hours the cries of battle are no longer heard. "No casualties on our side" Shade said. "No there was one injured" sapphire said while pointing to me. "Hmm those eyes it's (y/n)" Revali said as he lands next to me. 'I feel no pain' I wrote out in the dirt. I crouch down and gesture Revali to get on my back. In return he looks at his mother "go on then, just stay safe. Please protect him" sapphire said, the first part to Revali the second part to me. "I'm Revali, I don't need protecting. Let's get you to Mipha, we can get you healed" he replied. I nod my head and take off running.

I close my eyes and fall asleep as Mipha heals me, knowing that even if I tried to talk to them they wouldn't be able to understand me. However even though I'm asleep I can still hear everything that's going on. "She just met us today, yet she's shaved us all" Mipha says. "Do you think she will be the one to accompany the hero?" Revali asked. "It's a possibility. I mean she's so kind hearted, I bet she'd protect her parents even after all they done to her" Mipha replied while stroking my head.

Everything went black again. Then I saw the deaths of Revali, Mipha, a gerudo female, a goron and a blond haired hylian. They all died due to a boar like beast. The blond haired one however died saving a blond haired girl, she would
be perfect if not for the scratches and injuries that scattered around her body. The blond boy was taken to a chamber but that's all I see before waking up.

Before I open my eyes I shift back to being a hylian. This shocks everyone. I open my eyes and see a lot of beings gathered around me. The Rito army that helped us, Reval, sapphire, Shade, Mipha, Sidon and the Zora king. "Revali... Mipha..." is all I could say before I started crying. How could I not cry, I just witnessed the deaths of 2 of my only friends.

6 years later...
I spend the majority of my time as a dragon or as a Rito. Over the past few years I have forgotten about the deaths of Revali and the others. I met the gerudo champion Urbosa, the goron champion Daruk, the hylian link and the hylian princess Zelda however they don't know that I'm a shapeshifter. Whenever I'm around the champions I remain as a dragon. I still consider Revali as my brother however as he aged his ego grew with him. Every now and then I have visions but I usually keep them to myself or tell Revali.

I walk alongside the princess as she pets my head. She holds her sheikah slate and takes a picture of us together. I look over at Revali to see he's being rude to link... again. I growl at him in warning. He didn't listen, big mistake on his part. I shoot a blast at him causing him to jump back so he doesn't get scorched. He starts to run at me so I stand on my hind legs and flap my wings once. This causes him to fly back due the wind I made catching his wings. He sighs in agitation as he walks back to us. I smell something nice and I stop walking. I lick my lips and look at Revali. He nods at my silent question. I run off silently as I begin my hunt for food for all of us. I guess you could say I'm the shapeshifter champion, I don't control a Devine beast though.

Back to hunting. I see a flock of birds and some dear. I make quick work of both of them. I drag the food back to where the others had set up camp. Before I do that I want to mess with them. I drop my kills in a bush and hid them. When that was done I changed into a wolf. 'This is going to be fun' I thought as I began to creep around in the forest that surrounded the campsite. I let out a low growl, this seemed to alert the champions. I couldn't creep up on Revali or Mipha, Daruk has such a high guard that it would be useless. I don't want to accidentally hurt the princess, Urbosa scares me so that leaves link. He had put the master sword away from him so this is the perfect time to strike. I quickly pounce at link, I pin him down and growl at him in a threatening way. Everyone seems to shocked to do anything, other than Mipha and Revali who are trying not to laugh. I turn to them and wink at them before liking links face then walking up to the fire and laying down next to the warmth. I look back at link to see he's just laying there. I get slightly worried that I'd hurt him. I walk over to him and nudge him with my nose. The man stays ever silent which annoys me. He then jumps up at me causing me to let out a startled bark. Everyone starts laughing at this.

I forget that I'm around the others and change back to my dragon form. I'm startled when I hear shocked gasps. "I guess we have a lot to explain. Everyone this is (y/n) one of the only known shapeshifters. You all know of the monster attack on zoras domain. Well this was the leader of the Rito army that protected the Zora. Can you shift into Rito or hylian form please (y/n)?" Revali asks me I nod and change into Rito "my parents abandoned me when they found out about me being a shifter 6 years ago that's why I didn't want you to know" I say quietly "I was flying right into a storm and ended up passing out, Mipha here was the one to find me. And the Zora king thought it best to go with the Rito so he sent for sapphire and shade, Revali's mum and dad." I explain. "Revali everyone is staring at me" I whisper as I hide behind him so I'm out of the others sights. Revali moves so that I'm not hiding behind him "she was born a hylian however I haven't seen her in her hylian form since..." he's cut off by me. "Revali I don't remember the vision I had that night but I do remember how I reacted. I don't want to remember Vali" I say I use his nickname for no reason.

"So we have found the last champion" zelda says happily I just look at her in confusion "there was a prophecy of a 5th champion. Seen but never noticed the 5th champion shall rise. When times get tough they will be by your side. They must remember what they fear most. They must remember before all is lost." She said with a sigh.
