     |Kimberly|

The tour finally ended. But, it was time for Ashley and I to go back home. Texas. Joey was from Boston. Two different worlds. I never wanted it to end. Ever!

"Kimberly, we'll see each other. And be on the phone every night. You know I love you." Joey says, as the crew drops us off at our home.

"I know. It just won't be the same." I kiss his cheek.

"Well, hearing your voice will make me happy. All I need." He smiles. I get off the bus with Ashley. "Everything will be fine, Kim."

"Thanks for the fun time, babe." Joey kissed my lips.

Jordan had finished his goodbye to my sister, who walked a few steps back to keep herself from getting back on the bus. The bus drove away for the last time and we waited until we did not see it anymore.

   19 Years Later:

Joey and I had kept our relationship, with ups and down, but we made through it all. Eventually right after his first solo album came out, he proposed. We married the next year. The year after that, we had a son. George. After George, it was Sam. Fanny and then, the year the boys reunited, we had Lizzie.

"Kim, you know where George's Ipad went?" Joey asks, as Fanny tries to climb on him.

"It was in the black bag. Didn't he take it?" I tell him as George comes in with the Ipad.

"I guess he took it, I need Sammie to look at something, bud."

"Sure, dad." George gave the tablet to Joey.

"Mommy, why does daddy have some those people--" Fanny asks me as I notice Donnie and Jordan with Joe.

"They are daddy's friends, baby. Daddy was in a group when he was younger. That's when I met your daddy." I laugh, thinking of the first date.

"Is that why we're here, mommy?"

"Yes, baby. Go play with Sammy, alright?" Fanny runs after Sam into the halls.

"Kimberly, how's Ashley?" Jordan asks me, as he gets a bottle water.

"She's good. Still single since '90. She tried dates, but no one was like you."Jordan seemed surprised. "Well, she is suppose to come tonight because it's our last night with Joey until he comes back home."

"Kimberly!?" I heard Ashley's voice from down the hallway. "Sammy, where's mommy?" I could hear the footsteps of her high heels. She walked into the room and hadn't noticed Jordan standing next to me. "Kimmie! Oh, this is so wonderful!" I nod over to the boys. She turned around and saw Jordan stand as handsome as he always had been. "Jordan?" Ashley could not believe that it was the same boy she dated when we first went on tour with them.

"Hey, Ashley. How's it going?" Jordan says, giving her hug. "Still single?"

"Yeah. You?" Ashley smiles. Jordan nodded. He and Donnie were the only ones left single in the group.

"Well, the show starts in thirty minutes. You have some time to talk before we go on." Joey says, smiling at my sister and his friend.

"Yeah, we'll go for a walk. Come, honey. Watch the kids, Jon." He nods as he watch his baby brother sit with my sister.

I quickly look over to see her smiling and already laughing with Jordan. It brought everything back from those days when we randomly ran into them one day after school.

"She'll be fine." Joey kissed my temple. Those same words he said many years ago, when Jordan first went on a date with her.

"I know, babe." I smile and hoping that Jordan won't let her go this time.

The show started, Ashley and I sat on the side by the manager. It was like being back in 1989! But, the guys were all older than before. After many of the old songs with some new ones, Jordan asked Ashley on stage.

              What?

"Ash, come sit here." Jordan says, as Donnie pulled a stool for her to sit on. "I know we've known each other for some time, but I know it's been awhile seen you came on tour with us." I was so confused.

Joey and the boys came down from the stage. "Babe, what is going on?" I ask my husband.

"He told us after you two came here, that he won't let her go this time. It was now or never." Joey tells me, as I hear Jordan still talking to Ashley.

"Ashley, will you do me the honors of being my wife?" Jordan asked her, pulled a ring out of his pocket.

"Where did he get that?" I whisper to my husband.

"It's your ring, Kim. Jordan will give it back." Joey kissed my ring hand as I watch Ashley stare at Jordan and back at the ring.

"Yes!" My sister shouted as Jordan placed the ring on her finger.

It's been 21 years since those five days we were gone on tour with them. Joey, Jon, Danny and Donnie walked onto the stage to sing 'I'll be Loving you Forever' to Ashley.

They had broken up because she went to school in England. I still wonder how my parents afforded it. But, that's when they broke up, she wanted to concentrate on school and work. Joey told me how desperate Jordan had become in 1990 right as they were going on tour that year. Ashley felt so bad about it and I told her that she did the right thing for school. She believed it, but I knew she still thought about him.

The show finally finished and I walked backstage with her and my kids. Ashley kept admiring her ring, then she stopped in her tracks.

"Kimmie, is this your old ring? Why does Jordan have it?" She gave it back to me.

"I don't know, it might have been Joey who had it and gave it to Jordan." I smile as we walk into the dressing room.

"Babe," Jordan said as they all walked behind us. "Where is your ring?" He wrapped his arm around Ashley's waist.

"I gave it back to Kimmie. It is her ring, ain't it?" She asks her fiance. He nods. "Give me my own, Jordan. When we have the time. I just want to be yours." She kissed his cheek.

"Mommy, why does Aunt Ashley have Uncle Jordan kissing her face?" My oldest asks, as Joey steps in.

"Well, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Jordan dated the same time as Mommy and I. And for them, they have gotten together like me and Mommy have and soon, they will get married." My son nods and walks away to sit next to Donnie.

"Kimmie, since we are here and all together. I want to ask you, if you want to be my Maid of Honor?"

"Yes!" We hugged excitedly.

"The wedding will be-- oh, who knows. Right, Ash?" Jordan asks my sister.

"Spring! Maybe not next year though. We will figure it out, honey." He kisses her temple as she turns back to me and talks about plans.

"Take your time, it's been a few years." Danny says, taking a new water bottle.

"He's right, Ash. I think we should." Jordan tells her and she agreed.

I know she will be happy again and they will have a wonderful life together. It had been too long since they broke up. She couldn't be at my wedding cause of school and they had policy of skipping classes. Every school does, but it was England. They are different than we are.

Those days were amazing and they were the 80's. Times had changed and relationships were broken. But, I know I had a funny Feeling when I first met Joey that day at the record store.

That Funny Feeling had never felt.
