       May 26th, 1989

Kimberly Dashwood was studying in her bedroom while her sister Ashley was on her bed. They were talking about boys and Kimberly doesn't want to talk about stupid idiot boys from their school.

    Kimberly's POV:

"You need a boyfriend like ASAP, Kimmie. You really became a nerd and no boys at school like you. Only the neo-maxi nerds and they are gross! Kim, you have to be cool and come hang out with the cool cats, not the nerdos." Ashley persuades me of hanging out.

"No! I don't care for stupid boys, Ashley. Get a life, geez!" I tell my twin sister in our shared bedroom.

"Don't be such a downer, Kimber. We're twins and it's okay that we're different." Ashley tells me, sitting on my bed.

"Sorry, Ash. It's just so much to do before school ends. And I all I wanna do is read my books." I glance at the bookshelf by the back wall.

"Haha, Kimmie. You have all summer to read those books." I blush at her comment. "I gotta jet out to see Tommy. Later sis."

What you experienced was my twin sister Ashley Dashwood and I talking, thus we're both very different and sometimes that bugs us so much, we never do things together. Okay, well, part of that was a lie. We do a lot of things together, it's because of our different choices, makes it hard to watch movies, tv shows, play games and the way we hang out with friends. It's those activities that we agree completely different on, though, sometimes, we can be on the same level of various things. If our moods were happy, it would be some comedy. As you just saw us, she likes to hang out with her boyfriend and I like to study in my room. The books, oh, yeah, I am a complete bookworm. Ashley, on the other hand, doesn't read. Funny thing, she used to read until she got to 9th grade. Don't tell her I told you. School is almost over and I am so happy, no more teachers or stupid kids. I should probably get back to studying. Bye.

Joey's POV:

"Joey-Joe, let's go! The show's about to start." Donnie shouts from down the hall.

"Sorry, D. I'm coming." I shout back.  What's wrong with me? I thought.

Joey left the dressing room and headed down the hall to where the guys are waiting for him. The last one, again. He wasn't sure what was wrong with him but he wanted to find out why he has been the slow and last one to finish getting ready. The guys got in a huddle and walk down to the back where they head onto the stage.

The show has finished and now, it was time to change and get back on the bus. Once Joey was on the bus, he sat in his bunk and thought of reasons why he wasn't himself the past few weeks. Donnie had suggested maybe finding a girl to be together with, like he has Sarah. The girl who had moved to Boston a few months ago and Donnie had fallen in love with her. Jordan had said that Joey could do yoga or something. Danny told him about exercising his body and mind. He had tried that, but it didn't work on him. Joe had tried some yoga with Danny and Jordan, that also didn't last long. He decided to find a girl, though it was very hard to find a girl while you're on tour in a boy group like New Kids.  The next stop was Oklahoma City, till they hit Texas.

Joey wished he had a girl like Donnie does because it would maybe help with his problem that he has been having. If only he saw a girl and got to know her quickly. He wanted the girl who didn't know who he was and didn't care of his schedule. There had to be a girl like that, but where would she be?
