Love is Blindness- A Bethyl Story

Chapter 5

We walk back to the barn and lead Aaron inside.  "Who the h*** is this?" Rick yells. I know Daryl feels the same way but he is willing to give it a shot if it means life or death. "Aye man just talk to em. Says he has a community, supplies."  " I dont care we have all been through to much to beleive this crap!" "Rick think about who your putting in danger if we dont at least try. Judith, Carl, Beth,.... literally everyone we have." "They have us we will be just fine WE can protect them."  "Rick come on man! If something goes wrong we can handle it we have done it before." 

The room grows quiet as Rick thinks about what to do. He keeps pacing and pacing and doesnt stop for about 10 minutes. Finally Rick speaks. "Ill talk to him thats all for now."  "Rick i will go there myself to make sure its a good place just talking wont get the job done." "Let me uh talk first then i will let you go." "Okay when i go im taking Beth she knows what to look-" Daryl is cut off by Maggie. "No your not taking her anywhere till i know its safe."  "Maggie ill be fine this is Daryl were talking about here i can go." I notice Maggie doesnt like my decision but i cant keep being the weak girl everyone has to take care of. Since the start everyone has looked at me as if im going to be the next to go. I have made it this far im not giving up i have to be strong. Daryl looks at me reassuringly and says "Ill keep her safe i wont let er outta my sight." Maggie looks more relived now but still kind of doubtful. Glenn pulls her into a close embrace. "Maggie honey she will be fine shes not a little kid anymore." Maggie just nods.

After Rick has talked to Aaron for an hour he comes up to Daryl and I and gives us the okay. I grab my knife and a pistol then give Maggie a hug. Whispering "Maggie i can do this..... im not afraid." Daryl gives me a nudge as if to tell me to come on and we drive off in the direction Aaron gave us. After being on the road for a bit Daryl talks. "Ya alright?" I look over and reply, "yea im good."  "Do you really think this community is... worth it? Ya know all the trouble."  It takes me a second to answer. "Id like to think that this is all for a reason. That there is some big plan for us ya know. i have hope." He nods and continues driving.  "Ya know Beth ive never been a religious guy... but i think your making me see the brighter side of things. Maybe this is a sign. Youve helped me and i think im starting to believe  more and more." A small smile creeps onto my face followed by watery eyes. "God has a plan for each of us mabye this is the start of his plan for you!" 

AUTHORS NOTE: Hello guys! i hooe that you guys are still liking my story. I think im on a rool now lol i am developing so many ideas for this story and the other one! This makes me so so happy. im trying to sort of drift away from the show just a little bit so you guys arent bored of the same stuff. if you would like to see where this story is going stick around because this is only the beginning its going to be a wild ride!!
