"Okay, spill." Annabeth said as they walked in the door.
Brent sighed and lead her to the couch first.
He reached for her leg.
"No." She ordered. "Tell me first, or I swear I will chop it off."
He looked at her, as if he suspected she would actually do that. She nodded for him to go ahead.
"Well," he started, rubbing his arm, "I'm exactly normal..."
"Yeah, sweetcheeks, I think I figured that out."
"Would you just let me finish?"
Annabeth nodded.
"Anyway, I'm a... I come from a long line of leaders... we call them Alpha's."
"Like in a wolf pack? The leaders an alpha? I do watch Animal Planet."
He laughed. "You're sharp, anyway, like you said, in a wolf pack. We aren't human, Annabeth, and just from me being near you has put you in danger, me revealling this will probably jeoprodize your life."
"Continue."
"I'm a werewolf."
