Wang Junkai's POV

I woke up to a text on my phone.

'Hey, it's Mia! I had a really fun time hanging out with you yesterday! If you're free, would you like to watch a movie with me today?' The text read.

I smiled.

'Of course! I'll meet you at the theater at 5:00?'

'Yeah, sure! See you!'

I rushed downstairs to make breakfast.

"Oh, hey! You're up early!" I grinned at Xiao Xing.

"Yeah, I'm just cooking some eggs and bacon. Why are you so happy this morning?" She asks with amusement.

"Nothing, I've just got a date later today." I answer, blushing slightly.

"Oh... good luck. I know she'll love you." She looks away.

"Thanks, you need any help?"

"No, it's fine. Mei Lin's awake, she's gonna help me soon."

"Oh, ok." I reply before going back up to my room.

Xiao Xing's POV

"He has a date today. Probably with that girl from yesterday." I complain bitterly to Mei Lin.

She winces.

"I'm sorry." She replies, apologetically.

"It's not your fault, it's mine. Why'd I have such high hopes? I know he's way out of my league." I mutter, turning off the stove and putting the bacon and eggs on a plate.

I place the plate on the table just as Wang Yuan rushes down the stairs.

"Aww, you cooked for me? Thanks, sis!" He messes up my hair and grabs a piece of bacon.

"It wasn't meant for you, loser." I cheer up, giving him a shove.

After breakfast, I go up to my room and watch some TV.

Ding!

I got a text from Liam.

'Hey, you wanna go to the movies later?'

I thought about it. Xiao Kai wouldn't mind, right? I mean, he's got a date himself...

'Yeah, sure! What time do you want to go?'

'I'll pick you up at 5:00.'

'Sounds good.' I text back.

Wang Junkai's POV

At 4:50, I decide to leave.

I got in my car and drove to the theater.

"Hey, Xiao Kai!" I hear a voice.

Mia is near the entrance, waving at me.

I run over to her.

"Come on, let's go inside."

Xiao Xing's POV

'Hey, I'm here.' I get a text from Liam.

'Coming.'

I grab my phone and run outside. I get into his car.

"Hey, Xiao Xing! Ready to go?" He gives me a charming smile.

"Let's go!"

"And that part where he forgot his keys so he had to break into his own house?"
